Life throws another curve!
Saturday, March 15th, 2008Well it’s Saturday afternoon and I am here blogging with one hand. I woke up Friday morning at 5:00 am had a great upper body workout. Went to work and around 10:00am got my right index finger caught up in a router. It’s pretty amazing I didn’t even feel the router bit bite my finger. I felt a thud against my finger and when the warm blood sprayed across my face and safety glasses. That’s when I knew I was in trouble! There was so much blood I thought that it had taken the finger off at the first knuckle. But thankfuly it only rolled the meat out turning it into hamburger. My doctor had to remove some of the loose tissue and then sewed it shut. My finger has been throbbing and burning ever since. So I woke up this morning pretty bummed worring about my workouts but ya know what I decided screw it and I jumped on the elipticle and put in a hard 30 min. The pain was pretty strong but I felt a major rush going for it. My endorphins must have been multiplied with the combination of pain and the adrenaline, I felt indestructable. I’m going to push it even farther tomarrow, then Monday is my leg day, Tuesday is cardio and then Wed. will be upper body so that will be the real test. Until then, anybody reading this, Have a great week and work hard.
