Knee Surgery

So my surgery went great. I threw up a couple of times and lost like 2 pounds. Any started my diet today it’s good so far. I should able to get back into the gym by maybe Mondya or Tuesday.

Strict Diet

So my knee surgery is less than 12 hours away. I am actually excited. Hopefully everything gets fixed and I can resume normal workouts in like 2-3 weeks, of course doing low weights on legs to build my strength back up. But seeing how I will not be able to go to the gym or do any type of real cardio, I’ll have to rely solely on a strict diet.

Here are my targets:
1.25g to 1.50g of protein per lb of bodyweight = 261grams – 313grams
10 calories per lb of bodyweight= 2085-2200
Carbs = less than 100 per day
Fat = Less than 60 per day

Projected Food Schedule:
Meal 1:
2 scoops Syntha 6: 400cal, 30carbs, 24fat, 44 protein
Grapefruit: 102cal, 26carbs, 0fat, 2protein

Meal 2:
12oz Can of Tuna: 350cal, 1carb, 12.5fat, 55protein

Meal 3:
2 Chicken Breasts:  260cal, 0carbs, 2fat, 54protein
½ cup spaghetti sauce: 30cal, 8carb, 0fat, 2protein

Meal 4:
12oz Can of Tuna: 350cal, 1carb, 12.5fat, 55protein

Meal 5:
2 Chicken Breasts:  260cal, 0carbs, 2fat, 54protein
½ cup spaghetti sauce: 30cal, 8carb, 0fat, 2protein

Meal 6:
12oz Can of Tuna: 350cal, 1carb, 12.5fat, 55protein

Totals: 2132cal, 67carb, 53fat, 323protein

The Old Phallus Measuring Contest

It’s bound to happen when you go to the gym. It’s a fact of life, there is always someone who is or wants to be better than anyone else. What do you do though when this assbag comes around and is f’n up your universe, getting in the way, stealing the mirror, being loud as crap? 

Last night I was at the Gym and I was having a really awesome arms workout. I had the best pump I ever had. In between a set of barbell curls I notice out of the corner of my eye, a guy I know. We don’t talk anymore since his wife took his three kids and left. He insists it was all their friends that convinced her to leave…so story short…guy is an assbag. 

I move on to do Hammer Curls. Having a really good set when this guy steps like right in front of me and starts doing hammer curls…I rep 30’s when I do hammer curls. This dude, attempting to out due me grabs some 45’s, by the look on his face he was either going to crap himself or his head was going to explode. It was the first time I actually wished harm on someone. The rest of my night was pretty much the same, I still had a good workout, I was just annoyed. But in the end I think I lifted heavier than usual.

Anyway Friday is my Knee Surgery to get my meniscus fixed. I’ll have to rely soley on nutrition for like 3-6 days.

Second day of training was a little dissapointing, I was doing cable rows and when i pushed off on the foot plate my knee popped, my knee joint locks up because I have a torn meniscuse. On Friday I go under the knife to get a torn meniscuse fixed. I’ve had the injury for a while but, have had issues and haven’t really been able to get in a good leg workout without hurting myself. I’ll have to focus on clean eating the next two weeks while i’m recovering. -MAS
