Don't beat yourself up too bad. Count it as your cheat day. Been there done that. I learned that in order to lose weight i HAD TO CHEAT at least every other week. When I cheated I ate whatever I wanted on my cheat day (double cheeseburgers and fries) and still dropped 2-4 pounds each week.
I had messed up my knee also and concentrated on working upper body until my knee healed up. Give yourself another chance. The rewards outweigh everything else and it will become second nature.
