Warm Weather Kicks Ass!
We had a pretty wet and cold winter this year. It seemed longer then normal. Not to mention we got a ton of snow this year too. This kind of weather doesn’t leave you with much options for cardio. Kind of stuck doing indoor stuff. Now the warm weather is here I had almost forgotten how much cardio can be done out side:
1. Did an hour hike in the El Dorado National Forest this morning.
2.Spent several hours digging holes for posts and working on the livestock pen (Yeah, thats an ass-kicker!)
3.45 minutes jumping on the trampoline. Best money ever spent on that trampoline. Get a good workout in and spend quality/fun time with the kids.
4.Taking off here in a second to go for a walk with the family and the dog. Living at 3,800 feet and there isn’t a flat road for miles creates a killer cardio session.
Today was a great day and the weekend was kick ass overall. Hope everyone else had a great weekend too. Stay strong!

Thx for the comment on my blog over the weekend. To answer your question, yep, I love HIIT for cardio. It takes less time than long BORING steady-state cardio, and revs up the metabolism higher & longer.

Thank you for your well wishes. You guys look great in the pics. Keep up those daily outdoor workouts. I live in Chicago, I am glad the summer is coming too.
