Well, I’m still at it. I moved to a three day split three weeks ago, and my workouts seem much more productive. I have sore body parts the next day, and it actually feels like I’m doing something. I’m still working out the exercises that I do, and I posted my regimen here on my bodyspace. I also updated the supplement section here.
I found an old Border’s books gift card that I hadn’t spent yet, so I picked up the Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding and I’ve been reading that as of late. I found lots of good exercises that I want to try next time I change up my routine.

I’m feeling progress, slow but sure in my chest and arms. As for my back and legs, it feels like nothing can stop me. I’m not seeing so much growth though, and I’m thinking it may be that I’m not eating enough to grow. Over the last few weeks I’ve stayed at a steady 162-164 pounds, and I’m not seeing so much of a decrease in bodyfat. I’ve been eating anywhere from 2500-3000 calories per day, so I think I’m eating enough to maintain, but not enough to gain muscle. Of course, it’s only been three months that I’ve been serious about this, so I’m staying the course and I’ll see what happens next time I take pictures.

I still have so much to learn.

One lesson I learned right away since keeping stats here is to get my wife to measure me. My measurements really look screwy because my first entries I measured myself. Oh well… live and learn.

Well, I had a lengthy post up and for some reason it didn’t post and I didn’t save it… so, I’m starting over again. I gave in and got an account here. It looks like this is going to be a useful place to keep track of my progress.

I started eating healthy, and exercising about a month and a half ago. I bought weights and I’ve been riding my bicycle and using the Gazelle Edge in our basement. I’ve never cared about eating right, and I never exercised with any regularity until then. I’m sticking with it because after this short time, I’m already seeing great results.

I’ll be posting more about my exercise routine and diet in the future…
