Well I am headed into my 2nd carb up tonight (I can hardly wait!) and the belly is getting tighter so the fat is getting less. Able to do light upper body work so that has been nice. Still hitting the legs hard. Later my friends!

I’M BACK! My PT told me I could do limited upper body work at tonights appointment. No shoulders or chest, but everything is fair game if low weight, high reps. As I was going to the gym right after my appointment anyway I tried out some bi and tri work after my cardio session. Finished up with abs. Now it’s time to eat another wonderful Keto dinner!

Slept in a little and got up at 5:45. Had a MetRx drink and hit the gym at 7:00. Everything started out good. Warmed up for 10 mins. on treadmill and then did leg extentions. Put on my new belt and did set of squats OK. Added 20 lbs and on rep 2 of my second set I felt a little something that was not right. I stopped and moved on to leg presses. Finsihed up the rest of my workout with no problems. I am going to skip the squats for a while and use the hack squat maching instead. Lots of back support and I will try squats again in a couple of weeks.

Had to drive to LA this afternoon for a 1:30 meeting and hit the road back for the gym at 3:00. It took me two hours for a normal (if anything in normal in LA) one hour drive. Anyway, did a light leg workout and some seated cable rows that my PT let me do. First upper body work in I think five weeks Good to be back. I will do a seriouos leg workout on Friday or Saturday. Cardio and abs tomorrow.

Got up this morning at 3:15 and felt so good I headed over to the gym and did 30 mins. of cardio. Back is not really sore, just a little stiff. Will have to back to working it slower later in the week. Did some seated lower leg work so as not to put any stress on my back and fininshed up with forearms, just some seated curls so as not to stress the shoulder - I’m a mess what can I say? Off to PT for my shoulder tonight. I spoke to my Dr. who was not very encouraging about the results he sees so far and has referred me to an Orthopedic Dr and you know how excited they get about cutting! I am sure going to explore any and all options before I even think about that!

Not all the way healed, but maybe 80% better. Saturday was bitch and Sunday was a little better by the end of the day, but today was much better. I was even having crazy thoughts about going to the gym to treadmill - didn’t do it though. Have switched to heat as I guess that’s what you do after 48 hours. Started the Keto diet on Sunday… real full fat cheese and whole eggs and hot dogs (Hebrew National all beef)… yummy! Have not had any of these in a loooong time! Feels a little weird, but I am enjoying it. Thanks for the well wishes and advise my friends - I hear you and I am being good! Aiming to return to the gum on Friday but we will see how it goes.

I warmed up, did my leg extentions, everything was fine. Someone was on the leg press machine so I thought I would do squats on the Smith machine to keep moving forward. Everything was fine, but I had to do one more set with 10 more pounds on it - I felt I should stop at #6 b/c something didn’t feel right but my sets are 12 so anything less would be me just being weak right? #8 was the one that did it. Stopped and went home and put ice on it, repeated for 15 minutes every hour. Feels a little better today but going to take some time I guess. This was really stupid. I already could’t do any upper body work so I had been hitting my legs hard. Now I can’t do anything!

I picked up my daughter tonight after she ran away from her mothers house (acutally she was kicked out) over a week ago. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. Your kindness is very much apprectiated!

I had my BF% checked at the gym this morning and it was 12.5%! I have been using Accumeasure at it shows 9.5%. Neither are too accurate and the truth most likely lays somewhere inbetween. Even so at 11% I wouldn’t expect to be able to see them. I am traveling a lot this next week but starting next monday it is Keto diet for me. I am going to lose this freaking fat and see those abs my July! Good leg workout this morning. It has been one week since my daughtor ran away from her mom’s house and I have not had any communication from her for two days now. She is not taking her meds. I hope they find her soon.
