Well I am going to add another day to my legs and work them 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Cardio Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Still going to PT and I think the shoulder is getting a little better. Still don’t know where my missing girl is. I have been able to text her so I know she is OK, but she’s not saying where she is. At least she is communicating a little bit…

Lot’s of drama. My youngest daughtor ran away from her mother’s house yesterday. I tracked her down on the phone today finally, but she refused to tell me where she was so I could go and get her. Had to get the police involved and still don’t know where she is at. Quite depressing and the last thing I felt like doing was going to the gym. But I made myself go anyway and had a good leg work out. Didn’t improve on most things but I did add another 10 pounds to my Smith machine squats. Did some abs and headed home. I felt a little better, but I wish I knew where that girl was tonight. She has really complicated her life this time. Very sad.

No weights, no abs, no cardio, no nothing! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Just got back from having Sushi… fresh oysters too, yummy! Off to buy a new BBQ, so will be grilling some nice sirloins tonight. Got 4 hours of my new back tat done yesterday. Only 10 more to go!

Had another awesome leg work out this morning. As I can’t do any upper body right now I really look forward to these and give it all I have. Added 20 lbs to my Smith maching squats today and 15 to my leg curls and extentions - the coffee and the Vasopro didn’t hurt either! Didn’t have time for any cardio as I had to get to work. Start om back tattoo tomorrow right after cardio and abs. Going to try a few light concentration curls to see how that feels - my bad.

I hit my legs harder then ever Tuesday night and I am still sore today. I don’t think I will be ready to do it again tomorrow, but another great leg workout Saturday morning for sure. Cardio and abs last night and cardio again this morning. PT tonight, cardio tomorrow morning and then a nice 1-1/2 massage tomorrow night after work… YES!

Did cardio tonight and alternated 10 min. fast walk and 5 min. running to see how the knee felt. So far so good. Will increase the running a little each day if it contiunes to feel OK. Had a good ab workout: hanging leg lifts, crunches, ab machine at 70# and some weighted crunches on a swiss ball. Start PT tomorrow morning at 8:00 and legs tomorrow night.

When I was at my company picnic I was wearing a sleeveless shirt and I had a couple people make some comments like, nice guns, looks like you have been working out, etc. That felt pretty good as I have worked at this company for 30 years (yeah you read that right) and lot of these people have known me long enough to know how I have struggled over the years with my weight, or lack of, so it was nice to know that my efforts are noticeable to someone other then me and my bathroom mirror! I also had one of the guys running the contests trying to get my attention call me "hey guy in the red shirt!" then "hey you, muscle man!" That was really strange to hear as I don’t think of myself that way. Good to know that at least I have gained enough definition that even a stranger notices that I have put some effort into it. If feels good and it encourages me to want to work even harder.

Did my second leg work out of the week on Friday night. Legs has always seemed to be the hardest day, but now that I am for the time being limited to no upper body work I am trying to really hit em LongnHard I could still walk yesterday so maybe not hard enough? Abs and cardio Satuday then off to the company picnic. I did OK on the food, but I sure had not worked those beers into my daily caloric total! Weighed myself today and I am up 1-1/2 lbs. I think most of that is from water retention (salty food and salted limes with the Corona’s) as I ate very clean the rest of the week. I will weigh myself again tomorrow and I expect to see that drop off. PT on Tuesay morning and legs again on Tuesday nitght. Off to the gym now to do some cardio and maybe a sauna.

Well I finally saw my doctor about my shoulder. 4 weeks anti-inflamatory meds and physical therapy, check back in two weeks. If no progress off to a shoulder specialist. Of course I couldn’t get out the door without the "now remember your getting older" bullsh*t and "you really shouldn’t be lifting weights" speach. Very happy about the PT script because I think that is the key to recovery. He also prescribed heat and no ice. Does anyone understand this? Let me know if you have some information because it kind of goes against almost everything I have read on shoulder treatments. I went to the gym right after my appoinment as it is coveniently located right across the street! I had a great leg and ab workout yesterday so I just hit the treadmill tonight. So still no upper body work for a least another few weeks. That sucks but are gonna do? Work those legs and abs that’s what!

Just cardio and abs this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. Went down 1-1/2 lbs this week. Not seeing any abs yet. It is kind of depressing to walk through the weight rooms on my way to the cardio room and see everybody working hard. But tomorrow or Tuesday (depending on my wotkout partners schedule) I will be doing legs and I am really looking forward to hitting them LongnHard By the time I am done I’ll be luckly if I can walk down the stairs to go home… hell yeah!
