addiction…

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I am back to training regularly again after being sick for more than 6 weeks. I feel great and i’m on top of my diet. One thing that is happening to me that has never happened before is that i’m addicted. I am totally addicted to training. I think about it all day leading up to my workout. I think about waht i’m gonna do, how i’m gonna do it, and how i’ll feel after. I have never uite gotten the body that I want but I have never been this amped about training. Its weird but awesome at the same time. I am on my way to accomplishing my goals and I can’t wait! Good luck and god bless everyone.

Squats of death…..

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

So I am back from being sick and this week has been my first week of being able to train hard. Now that my immune system is back to 100% it is great to be able to push myself. I started dome new supplements and I have been really on top of my diet. My workouts have been intense and I have been extremely focused. I did squats on friday and i’m sooooo sore. One thing that is a new goal of mine is to have perfect form when lifting. I have been watching GoddessAthelete’s video’s, (which are awesome) and she is great at showing how to do lifts effectively and with the right form. I did squats a little lighter than normal just to make sure I could do them perfectly for every rep. I haven’t been going parralel to the floor lifting heavier which is not ideal. On friday I executed the lift with perfect form keeping my knees in line with my toes and getting my legs to that 90 degree angle. I have never been so sore in my life. My ass and quads are so tender i’m having a hard time getting in and out of my car! Even though it is difficult being sore I love it! Good luck and training to all. God bless and I hope everyone keeps their heads up in today’s hard times.

Finally healthy again…

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

I’ve gotten sick 2 times in the last 6 weeks. I got a Zpack and today is the first day I feel 100% I am very happy about this because I can resume my training. Not being able to train this past 6 weeks has really pissed me off. I’m ready to hit it hard and achieve my goals.

Got Bronchits 3 times in 6 weeks….

Monday, January 5th, 2009

So I got Bronchitis for 6 weeks and I thought it was just a cold. Everytime I thought I was better I went back to the gym and went back to my normal routine. Then after a few days or maybe a week it would come back even worse. I thought I could beat it but I work 60/hrs per week and I have only been getting 5 hrs of sleep per night. I just wasn’t resting enough and my body was breaking down. I finally went to the doctor and I got a Z-pack(anti-biotics). I am going to take a month off of working out and do my best to get 7-8hrs of sleep every night. I want my body to get back to being healthy and get my immune system strong again. Since I won’t be working out I need to eat really clean. It will be tough not going to the gym because I will want to, but I need this time to rest. When Feb 1st rolls around I will be strong mentally and physically and I’ll be ready to hit it hard. I have a lot of fitness goals I want to accomplish by summer and I am really excited. It is just a bummer I can’t start off the year doing what I want to do but I want to be as healthy as possible.  I will be starting a new diet consisting of a lot more fruits, veggies and nuts. I want to eat like a caveman. I work at Whole Foods in the mornings so I have lots of access to fresh, natural, and raw foods. I would like to thank GoddessAthlete, thank you Chrissy, because she has given me so much information in such a short period of time that will help me accomplish my goals. I hope evryone will be as focused as I am and that we will all accomplish our goals. Thank you and God Bless everybody.
