Ready to kill it.

I love this site! Seeing everybody work hard and achieve their goals inspires me. I always come to the site right before I hit the gym. I am ready to hit it really hard today. Today is back, triceps, and abs. Throw in a little running afterward and I’ll feel great. Getting sick last week set me back a little but I want this so bad I won’t let anything derail me. I am so determined. On a side note: I am so sick of eggwhites. I can’t stand them but I have no choice. Hopefully new pics today. Good training everyone!

Been sick! But I’m back and ready

I got sick on sat. I wasn’t feeling all that great on friday and the next day I had a sore throat and a migrane. Talk about pain. Haven’t had a headache like that in years. Maybe i’ve been pushing it to hard lately. So I took off work on Sat and spent the entire day on the couch. I did the same on sunday and watched football. Go Niners! Yesterday I felt better  but I didn’t want to chance working out and regressing so I stayed away from the gym even though it made me crazy not going. So today I get to go back and I’m excited. Hope everyone else is putting in some good work

Ready to tear it up today!

I’m pumped today. I feel rested and ready to train like a beast. I get to do shoulders which is definately my favorite. I also get to go take my bodyfat % again today. Last wensday I was 17.3% and i definately feel like I lowered it. I have been running almost everyday in addition to my lifting. I don’t run a lot, just 10 min after I lift. I run on a treadmill unfortunately. I’m more of a run outside on trails in nature guy. I think its fun to have hills, slopes, bends and turns. Jumping over stuff ducking under branches is fun and is definately the experience of trail running. I’m from Santa Cruz, Ca and there is a lot of that type of stuff there, but now I live in Long Beach, Ca and its a city with basically no nature. Kind of a bummer actually. So i’m stuck with the treadmill but I’ve developed a system to keep it somewhat interesting. Every 2 days I up the MPH up 0.1. Its a good way to make it harder over time and not really feel it. Tuff workout…

I had my 1st workout on Superpump 250 today. I didn’t really feel a difference but I seemed to sweat way more than I normally do. I had a great workout but I do feel really tired now. I don’t feel like doing anything the rest of the day. If anyone else has tried Superpump 250 it would be great if you let me know about your experience.

New supplements…

Monday, September 15th, 2008

I just picked up Superpump250 and I am excited about trying it tomorrow. Tomorrow is a leg day so squats, deadlifts, and lunges. I hate leg days because they are always tough but they are definately necessary. I am proud of myself because yesterday I didn’t eat a cheat meal like I normally do. Just felt like I could skip it. Good workout today hitting chest. Hope everyone else is working hard too.

Today was a great workout. I hit everything pretty hard and was able to do a little extra since I took off yesterday. I have been training about 5-6 days out of the week for the last 3 weeks and sometimes I really need that day of rest. Yesterday my legs were very sore from the squats I did. It is that really deep soreness that feels like its by the bone. Good shit! I have lost a lot of fat and gained some size recently and it has me pumped. Tomorrow will be the new progress pic day. I am going to try and put up a new pic every Friday to moniter my progress. Train hard everyone.

Had my body fat % taken today.

I had my body fat % taken today and it was 17.3% It was spur of the moment and I  had just had a large meal but I was still happy with it because last time I checked I was around 20% Training and diet are going great and I feel great.

3rd week so far great

This is my 3rd week of a strick diet and making it to the gym at least 5 out of 7 days. I’ve been running  more than ever which is amazing because I hate running. I am more focused than ever and more determined than ever. I have so much energy now I feel like I could work out twice per day but I don’t want to over do it. Good luck to everyone else and keep the focus!

Football starts tomorrrow! That means extra work

My favorite sport is football. I love it. I have a great TV and the NFL Sunday ticket. My routine is going to church early in the morning then watching football the whole rest of the day. I ussually have some friends over but I don’t drink. I have basically cut out all alcohol so it won’t be hard for me. Too many empty calories! One thing that is tough though is that I love to eat when I’m watching the games. Since I’m carb loading right now its ok but I still have to watch the fat. I’m going to do some extra work today just to be safe because I’m not gonna work out tomorrow. 5/7 days is enough for me.
