What a difference…

a few tweaks can make! so I am on day number 4 of my new diet which new iffb pro Catherine Holland and her boyfriend Jason did for me and my trainer is amazed at the difference. The calories are about the same, same number of meals - two main differences - No more eggs or egg whites and the only starchy carb (other than green veggies) is oats and I only get them twice a day after cardio - so once in the morning after morning fasted cardio and then again at night after my evening cardio. I also get 1/2 a grapefruit w/protein before my evening workout. I think these two (Catherine and Jason - not the oats and grapefruit although let me tell you they taste pretty freaking amazing after all those green things LOL) are great they have been super nice and let me tell you their cardio workouts are brutal but very effective. I have lost 2 lbs and another 2%bf just this week. They definitely know what they are doing!! Just look at Catherine she is the poster gal for what they are looking for now in figure - nice feminine muscles with full bellies.
Now I am not suggesting this type of diet is for everyone, unless of course you are part of the crazy group of us who likes to get into bikinis and high heels and be compared to other women on stage!
But the take home lesson from this that can be applied to anyone and everyone is that when you body reaches a plateau it is time to shock it. Whether that means switching up some aspects of your diet or upping your cardio intensity - (or both if you like me and have a contest in 5 weeks) - the body adapts and you always need to keep it guessing!

I know my trainer took me off eggs 5 weeks before my comp…. they have ALOT of natural sodium in them if I recall or something that causes our bodies to hold water… ?? anywhoo.. I am intrigued by what you are doing and may have to look this duo up for some sound advice!!! Can’t wait to see your progress pics, but 2% body fat is amazing!!! wow!!!!

2% body fat in one week??? I need to be on THAT diet! Ok, well, maybe closer to my show.
Why no egg whites? And what kind of cardio are you doing? Congrats on your progress!!! You are looking great!

That is a diet I’ve never come across..but it’s working wonders for you. 2% bf is amazing! You’re going to look awesome for your show.

Wow you look great, I need a diet like that. Actually Jules has me trying something new so I’m excited about that. Keep up the fabulous work, it is doing wonders for you!
