Killer leg workout with videos!!
Worked legs today and did a great exercise that Fern has on her videos - it is a lying leg press on the smith machine and it rocks! Here is Ferns video check her out!!

I did three sets single leg working up to a 45lb plate on each side and finished with 15 both legs just to really fatigue the muscles. Then I did these funkiy squats I saw Jenny Lynn do - wide leg stance and she thrusts her hips forward at the end of the move to involve the glutes more - 3 sets. Then I did lying legs curls, single leg presses on the sled with my feet really high and finished with frog squats holding a 40lb dumbell in front of me with two hands. Many of these I got from a video that Jenny Lynn did with the trainer Charles Glass - here is the link!!

Then I did 1 hour on the elliptical swithcing direction every 10 minutes- no hands! I did the glute program at 3-4 resistance and burned 600 calories (thank goodness American Gladiators was on to keep me occupied) And I finished with 20 minutes on the arctrainer at 10% incline and lowest resistance and burned another 200 calories. Starting tomorrow I am going to start the dreaded 30-40 minutes cardio before breakfast which I loathe but I think it will help boost my metabolism and fat burning. I did lose a pound this morning and broke the 150 barrier so I am psyched.
That’s all for tonight - sweet dreams of small tight glutes everyone!

Girl, you’re awesome! I watched Jenny training with Charles, and wrote down all of the exercises. Since leg day is Saturdays for me, I’m going to try his program. I’m doing pretty much all of the exercises, but not hitting them from the same angles as he is. I always wanted to know what muscles really brought out the "teardrop"; that question has been answered. Now I know what to focus on. You are such an inspiration and such a kind hearted person for sharing. Many people wouldn’t do that, but you choose to. That’s what makes you so special. As far as the diet, think I’ll let you have that one
Keep training hard!!!!

Sorry, I meant to say I wanted to know what "exercises" brought out the teardrop. I would love to train with Mr. Class, but I have a trainer who’s special in his own right. Good luck with your training!
