Changing things up!
Well, I talked to a pro figure competitor who is willing to help me along. She looks incredible! She suggested that I up my cardio to 2 hours a day. Yikes! I am going to really have to stay motivated to do that. I have about 15-20 more lbs to lose. I started today with my morning session already. I guess I will just have to vary the cardio and intensity. I am going again this evening for lifting and cardio/abs. I also am going to eat 2 more meals per day. Same amount of food, but split up the portions a little. Hopefully this will get me out of the rut I’m in. With this much work, I expect to see major improvements and advances.

What do you do for cardio? And what kind of intensity? I do five sessions a week from between 20 minutes up to 70 minutes, but haven’t progressed to two sessions of cardio per day. Typically I’m on the Life Cycle at 3.8 speed with running bursts of 7.2 speed for 5-minute clips interspersed. I’m definitely losing weight with consistent workouts, cardio, and a low-calorie diet, but my energy level is loooow.

I’m in the same rut. A bodybuilder told me to stop running so much in the morning and just do 30 minutes of uphill treadmill walking. Does this make sense to you?? Because it doesn’t to me but maybe he knows something I don’t.
