not a bad strategy at all. when u did bis/tris on the same day u were working too small muscle groups so harder to get a hit intensity workout. with your current pairing u have a big muslce first(chest) which involves the tris so u will get a little warmup and pre-exaust for your triceps. same thing with back and bis. should work out well for u. happy workouts.

It's really tough to find supplements and routine that will help you build muscle AND lose fat. The best way to do this is through intense weight training and a very strict diet.

However, some new fat burners have been created to minimize muscle mass loss when cutting. For example, Hydroxycut Hardcore, Lipo 6x and Mitotropin are supposed to all do this.

I have my own supplement website and try to beat BB.com prices whenever possible. It's listed as my Personal Website on my profile....use coupon code "newcustomer10off" in My Cart to get 10% off!

Hope I helped.

Keep your carbs complex (slow releasing) and at a moderate intake. Keep your protein intake high. Keep your fat intake low.

This will give your body the sustained insulin release, with the complex carbs, it needs throughout the day for normal cell activity. This gives you the energy you need throughout a normal day and 'extra' aerobic expenditure will be taken from FAT first, then protein. The protein will help retain, repair, build muscle and be used for energy (if stored fat/fat intake is too low and/or carb intake is too low). Fat is still needed if you are low BF% however if your body has stored fat then I would keep the fat as low as possible and just let your body use up the stores of fat before feeding it too much more fat.

Your body uses energy from these sources in this order: Carbs, Fat, Protein (obtained from muscle or from daily intake). Knowing that, it should make sense as to why your body is breaking down proteins for energy.

Your body is talking to you- try to understand it and I garuntee you will reach your goals.

hbat464 is right. Your body is going to try and break down protien along with the fat to fuel your body. I believe your body goes into what is know as a catabolic state (anabolic is when your bulking). If you take in enough protien through out the day (especially slow digesting ones) youre body will turn to that to break down before it turns to the muscle. Im trying to avoid muscle loss as well. Good luck!

My shoulders used to be one of my weakest parts and I never thought I'd get anything accomplished with them.

But I did and they are a LOT stronger than when I started out. It'll happen for you. Just stick with it and be consistent.

35lb's is not that bad.....as hard as it is too do drop down 30lbs. Stick to the same rep range, when you can get in 10 -12 reps with ease you have increased your stregnth. Then do your last set for a few reps with the 35lb weight.. Then move up to the next weight..start the process over. You wil gain size and stregnth and keep a good volume workout!
