Just another workout

I did fourty min total of interval training on the elliptical and on the stairstepper and then did some abs and calves. I had my lifeguarding test all day and that kinda took a lot out of me. I’m having big problems with my achilles tendon but i don’t wnat my calf size to get smaller. I dunno what to do about it and its starting to screw up my cardio as well. It flares up about three times a year but it used to be around my soccer season when i was running a lot and now i’m not running at all and its bothering me. Its really gettin to me. Tomorrow is a back wokout and I think i’m oging to go really heavy this week to switch it up.

non training days

These are the worst. I kinda look forward to them but when they actually get here its a bummer. I had about 7 hours of lifeguarding today so I guess that counts as something. I just have to keep busy or else I’ll just be tempted to sit and eat ya know? Bleh. More guarding tomorrow and after i’m going to work out. Hope all is well.

So is this bad….

I used to weigh 130ish but i got on the scale this morning and I weigh 121… I am still as strong or stronger but it kidna worries me a bit. This is not a bad thing is it? I’ll post a progress picture of my abs in a few.

college food

See its hard to eat everything that i’m suppose to cuz i have to eat at the student center. So my options are limited. Can someone tell me specifically what i’m doing wrong? I can lay out what I eat everyday because its basically the same thing at the same time i just need some advice. thanks!

loosing weight to fast

I want to loose this extra weight so i started doing a little more cardio and cutting back on my eating just a tad. I’m loosing weight but i feel like and i think look like i’m loosing muscle to. How the hell am I suppose to loose the fat without loosing the muscle? This happens every single time i try!

shoulders

I did shoulders today. I am having the hardest time building them up. I can hardly do 35lbs on DB shoulder press and on lateral raises i’m at 17 1/2 pounds and same with front raises. Rear delts…. well i’ll keep that to myself. I just can’t build that muscle. Any suggestions? They are so stubborn!

So life in general… well not my best week at all. We had to put my cat down today. That was a real low blow and I have to have class from 9-5 tomorrow and 9-5 sunday and the same next weekend. It really sucks. I just want these next few months to be over with.

Overcoming body image

So I used to have depression and it still comes up everyone now and again. It spawns from my body image issues. I know, this is a common problem but when an individual has it, that person does not take it lightly. I have severe problems with body image and I would like some help to lessen it. The more I like my body and see improvements the better. I just need help with the mental part first to have the motivation level to succeed more in this sport. Any suggestions? Its startin to get to be again

chest

i did chest today. it amazes me how weak my incline is compared to my flat. On DB chest press I am up to 45s on each side. I did that, then flys, then moved to Incline Bench. Here I can hardly get 12 with 65 pounds but on regular bench I can get 12 easily with 110 pounds. I dunno. And it seems to not be going anywhere. Its just annoying. Then I did Incline flys. It was a easy day. Chest is fun:) Then I did some sprints and 15 min on the elliptical:) Have a great day everyone!

Back workout

I love Mondays… back is my favorite to work. I did pull ups, bar rows, bar rows with a different grip, Pull downs, Low row machine and lower back machine. I was going up in weights for a bout a month really really fast and now i’m slowin down… I used to get really upset about it but I found out that it happens a lot. This is the time where you gotta keep going and not get discouraged. Can’t give up. If you did all the hard work would go down the drain. So I’m in a tight spot. My friend wants me to go to Florida with her over the summer for a week or so. I want to go but there will be no gym. Can someone who works out everyday basically go from all out to nothing at all? Has anyone else experienced that? How did you overcome it so you didn’t go absolutly crazy?

All I have time to write today is ABS JUST SUCK. Thats all. Maybe if I had a six pack my mind set would be totally different. Doing them again and again and not seeing results is a downer. But I know it’s my fault. DIET DIET DIET!
