Sickness..

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007

I guess I started at the beginning of the flu/cold season but it doesnt help your motivation.  So how do I get through a cold/flu and still work out?  So how do you do it, is there magic potions to take or do you just tough it out?

Well it started Saturday and its now hopefully over.  I was going to get up early this morning but alas the alarm clock took some abuse instead.  So its back to the gym in the morning.  :)

Week 1

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

So my first full week comes to an end.  I have accomplished what I set out to do; get to the gym regularly, work the body part I planned to and eat appropriately for the rest of the day.  My work outs are by no means perfect but you have to start somewhere and this is it.

Next week I plan to fill out my work out progress report along with my weight and bodyfat.  My main goal is to come away from the work outs tired, maximising my brief workout with maximum intensity.

 Roll on Monday.

Blog Entry

So here I am just before posting my initial picture.  Yes the one in the hottub doesnt count because I was happy just running and thinking that would be enough to keep me in shape.  As I look at the picture boy was I wrong.  Okay major improvement needed just need some time and a good plan.

Here we go!

Monday, October 29th, 2007

From my name you can tell I am a runner.  However only being a recreational runner has meant that I have not been overly commited to my goals.  My body has in turn reflected that; so its time to do something about it.  I  have come to a point in my life where I would actually like to see my abs, I can see the rest of my muscles so why not this set.  I will still run but only to supplement my goal to improve my overall fitness and wellbeing.  ‘An all over body workout with focus on my abs’ sounds like a good mantra.

I will post an initial picture and monthly updates, hopefully showing my amazing transformation.  :)

As always I look to others for motivation and guidance; thank you to those people in advance.

Simon
