Sat.- 34 Days to Wedded Bliss
Saturday, December 12th, 2009Okay. I have had a "life happens" weekend so far. Long story short I have been driving a clunker for years and just when I was ready to buy a car, FI proposed and now I am moving overseas. That being said, his mother had a function last night in a nearby city. But not near enough for me to think my clunker will make it there. So I rented a car. The rental car place is closed on the weekend so I had to rent it for 3 days.
So I had no workout Friday because I went to the event immediately after work and got home close to midnight. I did make good eating choices however.
Today, Saturday, I thought "I have this expensive rental all weekend…I better drive it somewhere!" So I called two friends that are an hour away each, and scheduled lunch today with one and Sunday with the other. It will be my last time seeing them before I leave the country.
Soooooooo!!! I am confessing I split a hot brownie and ice cream dessert after my salad at lunch with my pregnant girlfriend.
There. I said it. And I am a little disappointed because I totally weighed in at 120lb this morning and then I go and do that. I know it is just one time. But because of my addictive nature (ice cream and caramel are my weakness) and the few weeks I have left to get toned, I am ticked with myself.
See I don’t just have to get into my wedding dress. I am moving to an island. I need to be bathing suit fit too. And my tummy is still jiggly wiggly.
Anyhoo, that was my self rant. I will do better tomorrow. Here was my (short) workout today- when I got back from my trip and decadent dessert, the gym was getting about to close:
15 min- rowing machine, 27spm, 138cal
13 min- stairmaster, lev5, 70cal
maintained heart rate between 160-180
