Unplugged.
Haven’t been plugged in in a minute. You know, when you are just on and you plan, prepare and follow through. Yeah. None of that for a while. So I was a little groggy getting back into things today. I have generally kept to clean eating but I had to get the pantry back in gear for my pre/ post workout meals. So after work I went to the store and got a handful of stuff. Then- what? Yes I came home and took a nap because I am still tossing and turning at night. I finally heard from my man in Guam (or rather, on the high seas) around 4am this morning. So, needless to say I didn’t get much sleep again and I lost my energy towards the end of the workday. The sleep was solid and then I was up at 7:30 getting ready for the gym.
Once I got there, I felt like I was swimming upstream on the cardio. It was too hard too soon. So I kept it simple for my first night back in. Definitely didn’t like the pie face staring back at me in the mirror and the arms were looking like logs, so I got work to do.
Cardio Wave 20 min lev. 4/ 133 cal
Rowing machine 20 min 27 spm/ 175 cal
Protein shake, cottage cheese. Bedtime. Repeat again tomorrow.

You will get back into the groove quickly! At least you are getting yourself to the gym… that’s half the battle!

I agree, it will come back quickly. You WILL make it happen, way to get there and get it in.

I’ve had these times too, and unplugged is a perfect word for it…going to the Olympia last weekend plugged me back in! As long as you keep going to the gym doing your workouts, you will be fine..that’s what saves me!…hey think about that jealous guy at work..now HE’s unplugged!! LOL
