Reverse Cheat and Other Ramblings
Okay, so I can say I haven’t stopped since getting back on the horse Monday! lol! Last night was interesting. I race from work (I am off at 5PM) to 15 min Ab Lab class down the street (5:15PM) and I always throw everything into my locker until after abs (I don’t need my MP3, water, etc.) During class my muscles were still aching (actually felt bruised to the touch from MONDAY ab class, cruncher and captains chair). There was a new teacher who started us off with what must have been a 2 minute plank while she figured out the sound system. Hated her. After that, I found myself doing a couple of the modified exercises and even stopped in the middle of two moves.
So I head back to the locker room and my phone is lit and hello! It’s my BF calling, so I walk outside and sit on a bench under the shade of a tree and chat with him for a bit. He is the only person who can interrupt my workout. And he gave me a little extra boost. Ooops, a few minutes in he gasps that he may be late for a class, gotta go, love you bye!!!
So I head for the treadmill, all the while eyeing the Stairmaster, praying no one gets on it…oh well…2 minutes in and somebody climbs on. So I figure I will just speedwalk til the guy gets off. I mean. How long can he stay on the thing anyway? It’s gonna kick his ass like the rest of us. Well, serves me right I was dead wrong. He clung to that machine for 50 minutes. Is that hogging? I don’t know. When I get that kind of stamina I hope I can afford my own machine at home or a gym with more than one Stairmaster. I was watching the entire gym, making sure no one else had the same plans I did, and at 45 min on my machine I got off to prepare to take his place. If I walked any longer I wouldn’t get a decent climb. So I stopped at my locker, refilled my water, stretched nearby. I felt like a stalker.
He had to wash down the entire machine and when I climbed on and the steps started rotating down I noticed I was stepping into small puddles. Alas, I just did 20 mins + cooldown. But I am feeling it today. When I got home I did light weight/ high rep arms wih dumbbells. Just trying to tone as I continue to drop the bodyfat. Feel that too.
Then I just wanted to eat so bad, there was no time for a meal. Couldn’t wait while my 1/2 sweet potato heated up for 3 min. Had to down a dollup of PB, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, and a handful of cashews. Beep, sweet potato ready. Ate that with one hand while preparing shake with the other.
3 days of cardio so far this week. Gotta do two more.
So I am gonna switch it up a bit. I consider the start of the week to be Sunday, which is SUPPOSED to be my big booty sting workout day. So I haven’t done it yet. I woke up today itchin to burn my butt. So I am reverse cheating and adding my bootie sting to tonights workout, even though I will only have 2 days rest- yeah its that serious. My sis is outta town so I have the place to myself. I chicken out when she is home and take it to the gym.
I hope to write about how hard it is to sit and stand tomorrow…

I don’t have a bootie sting workout. Am I missing out Lisa……….LOL?
That guy must be in great cardio shape. The most I’ve done on the stairmaster is intervals for 40 min’s. I’m usually superheated, sweating buckets & the heart’s pounding in my chest by 5-10 min’s of intervals, & usually go 20-25 min’s total.

LOL!
This was a good blog entry! Lisa, I hate when people hog the machines or weights. But he get a Wow! They would have found me under the machine completely passed out!
Make sure you give it your best in the gym or well have to kick your butt for ya!

You got back on the horse running didn’t you? Good job, sounds like you are full throttle indeed. Keep pushing yourself.
