Yesterday my silly self took food to work but didn’t take the can opener. Argh… I ate the best I could at work but I haven’t eaten it in so long it didn’t sit well.  About 8pm I started feeling the urge to throw up and thought it was because of the food so I fought it. Apparently I have a stomach bug because I lost that battle. I woke up this morning dehydrated with a fever…no wonder in all my dreams I was drinking ice water, lol. I couldn’t go to work so now I’m home…resting and trying to hold something down.

Okay, so I got to the gym on Wed.  Hubby’s G-ma watched the kids for me but she hasn’t been feeling well so I didn’t want to leave them over there too long. I felt so bad, I only had about 4.5 hours of sleep. I work from 6pm to 4am on Tues. night.

I warmed up with a mile on the treadmill at an incline. Then he had me do 10 x10 calf presses on the leg press machine. by the 8th rep I couldn’t get my legs to move.  it felt great though, usually my calves aren’t sore but I felt it this time…Then the insurance guy showed up (someone hit our new truck last week) and the power started going off and on because of the storm. I then did what we call ham-glute raise. 3×10 holding a 25lb plate. Then moved on to rope pressdown for my tris. 3×10 with 40lbs. I didn’t have the time or energy to do any more, plus the storm was moving in and I had to pick up the kids. We had lunch together–tuna, green beans, and almonds–then I was off.
