Blog Entry
Well, where to begin? I’ve been on this journey for about 1 1/2 months now. I’ve lost 2% of that dreaded bodyfat but haven’t lost weight which backs up my idea that I’ve gained muscle, I can really see a difference.
I kinda fell off my strict diet the past week. Hubby’s birthday was this weekend so of course we had friends over and all that good stuff…He helps me stay on track though. Last night we had top sirloin, green beans and PB for dinner
My kids are almost 3 and 5 and it’s so funny how kids pick up on the little things they hear. Everytime we go to the gym to visit Daddy they run straight to the treadmill and hop on. Last time my husband asked our son what he was doing on there and his response was "getting bigger!" Funny for a 3 year old but then he loves to lift his little 1 and 2# weights. He also has some very strange eating habits for a little one. He loves oatmeal, tuna, broccoli, and water. He told me the other day "water’s good, it’s not soda, me get big muscles like you and daddy" So cute!! My daughter will start school this year and when I told her we would have to get up earlier everyday to do her hair (it’s curly) she said "and to pack my lunch" I asked why didn’t she want to eat the food at school and she said she wants "all the stuff we’ve got at home cause it’s good."
I know see that this journey is not just about me looking better and feeling better, it’s about teaching my kids the right habits so they can grow up being healthy
