2008 got the best of me the fattest year of my life gained about 35 lbs. So in 09 I think what has to change? To start stress has to come down then I need to train harder and make sure that im eating right. I have a steady workout partner and he pushes me pretty hard. Another good thing is that football has started so I get that great complete body workout so I guess its time to finally get right.

Well after three months of work I make it to training camp in the best shape of my life. Lookin good feelin good then mid week i get the flu and had to miss two practices and its been a uphill battle since. But I still made the last cut. So its game week and they announce the travel squad and No Cameron.. My birthday was weds what a better gift than that, Im once again at the bottom most of us know when were at the bottom its only one way to go AND THATS TO THE TOP BABY. Be it weight significant other or gettin on the playing field we all struggle. I will rebound I will Fight.

On Jan 18th and 19th I had my tryouts. I did 225 29 times and then did all of my other skills test. For the most part everything went well on the 2nd night I Had a Blast did well on indvid drills and to make a Long Story Short Hard Work does Pay Off …. I made the Team….

One Week out kinda discouraged . The team i’m trying out for has signed a couple guys that play my position. And I haven’t been approached for any pre- signing. Ive worked hard for 3 months straight. So this Friday and Sat Night it comes to a head the rubber meets the road..

Thirty min Of mixed Cardio Treadmill 10 min Elypitical 10 min then 10 more min on the tread. The Some technique work had to sharpen my craft. Feel pretty good had some Chicken breast and multi vitamin and flax seed oil pills.

All my work will come to a head on January 18th. year ago to that date I was humiliated. Never before in my life had I set out to do a task athletically and failed. The league I tried out for was a level above the one I currently play in. Out of respect for the men i play against now im sure the level of play between the two cant be that different. I always told myself growing up that is my weights was to ever become a disadvantage to me I would loose it and that time Has come so… ten solid pounds in a month will be tuff but not unrealistic Im sure ten pounds wont be the difference maker but it will deff be that extra energy source to pull from.. Im not sure how many people read this but I could really use the Support … And I promise to keep you all updated… Im on my way to the gym now so when I return I will give my pre work-out stats…

I work out at Golds Gym on Maple Between 2:45 and 4:45. Im wanting to move up on weights but its become a hassle asking people to spot and having friends that aren’t very athletically inclined. If interested don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
