About to start week 4

Well its also about that "time of the month" SO I feel a little bloated and crampy and sick. We’ll see what happens this week. I hate this time of the month! Its only my second one since having my daughter who is 10 months old. I forgot all about it! Anyways, I am going to start trying some cardio this week and see how my back feels. I think I would have had waaaaaaaaaaaay better progress if I had been able to work out. But I sitll lost a couple of pounds so I’m pleased with that!!!

Ugh..infested!

Off to a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad start today!!! I am totally pissed off!!!
Apparently one of the girls in my daughter’s class has a constant lice problem that keeps coming back and she happens to be a girl my daughter really likes. Well the nurse called me today to tell me to get he from school not even an hour after I dropped her off because she has a little lice. I’m so grossed out. I share a brush with her everyday so I’m sure i will get it too. And most likely my other kids will get it too. I just went to the store and bought every lice product available plus the spray for the house and tea tree oil to put in her shampoo to help prevent her from getting it again once its under control. WE are shaving my sons head tonight. I have to wash EVERYTHING and things that can’t be washed have to be in an airtight bag or container in the garage for 10 days. And I have to spray everything else like my couch. Its so much work and I’m so pissed off right now! I’ve never had lice in my life and nobody in my family has had it so this is my first experience and I’m overwhelmed! Anyone have any tips? I’d LOVE to hear them! my daughter is going to wear a shower cap all day to prevent it spreading anymore and I’m about to get them in the bath and do her and my sons hair with the treatments just in case. Then I have to start on the house when the kids sleep!

OK…rant over! Bad start to my day!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Ok so yesterday I was coming down the stairs with a groggy 2 year old and my 10 month old in my arms. I totally tripped over the gate at the bottom and while my children were fine thanks to my quick skillz( yea right) I hurt my back soooooooo bad. I’m taking my 800 mg motrins but since I’m still nursing my baby, I can’t take any pain meds and we have a couple more weeks without medical insurance so I can’t go to doctor. If it was the kids I’d take them but not for me…Too much money.

So I’m in soooooo much pain, I have no idea what I did to my back, and I totally can’t work out. I’m really MAD!

I’m totally sick and miserable and can’t swallow anything. So my cut diet even though only on it for a week has to take a back seat till I can get healthy again. Soup broth all day today! And some saltine crackers all soggy in the broth. I didn’t feel like eating ANYTHING…Today was my refeed day too…So I guess I got my carbs…just not in the way I’m supposed to! I feel so weak!

So I had my carb meal tonight and lets just say I feel stuffed. I enjoyed every bite, but afterwards I felt like I was on speed and then I got nauseated and tired. In fact for about 10 minutes I thought I was going to puke. And I did eat it slow and in the right order. Man that seemed like a lot of food! Before I started this diet I could have consumed that much easily and then some but not now! It made me sweat and everything!!!

I found a new motivation today! I feel great and started the day out right other than being sleep deprived from the kids and a bad night. Thanks for everyone’s nice comments and support. It gave me the extra boost to keep on keeping on!!!

Rough day all around!!! So aside from my bits of discouraging moments, I’m doing better now after talking to a few ppl here.  Then I went to the grocery store to shop for food for the family and I was sooooooooo hungry when I went. Not a good idea. I stayed strong and didn’t sample anything or buy anything that would tempt me later. BUT it kept going through my mind how maybe I’ll just cheat tonight or this or that. HAHAHA
I’m making one of my favorite meals tonight but its a LOADED with bad stuff kinda meal so I’m not having any. Just me and my tuna, blueberries, green beans and almonds! Woo Hoo! Actually I’m ok with my diet now. I’ve figured out which options i like best and which ones I don’t like so much. I love the blueberries instead of grapefruit, and I like the tuna instead of chicken or turkey breast. And the Green Beans I like the same as the broc but the green beans just seem simpler…Not sure why. SO…I’m good to go! Now I just wish there was a cheaper way to do so many eggs in a day! I know i need to get a Costco membership and that will help. Maybe I will do that tomorrow. But I pretty much go through a dozen and a half eggs a day  just for myself. And I feel like I’m wasting a lot by dumping a majority of the yolks. Any tips?

Getting discouraged!

I still am motivated to stick to everything, but I’m afraid that what I’m doing isn’t going to be good enough. I have stuck to the diet now and am doing fine with it, and its just I’m afraid that I don’t have the proper weight equipment to train properly at home. That frustrates me cuz I want to be as successfull as I can as quickly as I can. So any hindrances such as lack of equipment make me feel frustrated.

So at first I thought there is NO way I can do this Cut Diet thing. But yesterday was a lot easier and today was even easier than yesterday. I think it was all about getting organized and having enough of the right stuff in the fridge and getting in the right mindset. I swear, I had a serious carb and sweets addiction. But I managed to get over that and I’m doing really well!!! I’m proud of myself today. I just hope that each day gets better!

Funny story: Yesterday I made spaghetti for the family. My son didn’t want to eat as usual and so I usually take a bite of his food and act out how yummy it is and say "MINE". Then he eats it. Well I took a bite and as I started to chew I realized crap I can’t eat that so I faked the rest of the bite and my son started to eat. I proceeded to go to the sink and spit the food out nonchalantly and rinse out my mouth. I had a brain fart moment! HAH!

Then today I had this extra lean beef cut and so I was cooking it and totally burnt it. Well it was the last of the meat I had that could be cooked in time for my next meal. SO instead of skipping it or eating something else instead, I ate the burnt beef! HAHAHA IT was so gross. Now if thats not dedication I don’t know what is! Yummy charcoal! MMMMM
