Sooo I’ve come to my conclusion
After my first competition and having dieted for 6-7 hard weeks with cardio and never cheating not even once I went a little crazy after the show for the next 3-4 weeks. This involved eating anything and everything I wanted CAkes, cookies, ice cream, anything sweet and salty i was eating it and in lots of quantities. NOw I weighed in a 162 at the show and i got up to 189lbs. I wasn’t doing any cardio my Abs said goodbye when I hit 170 something and I was just feeling like crap all the time. I had no energy or anything. Now mind you I was lifting harder than ever these past 3-4 weeks and was hitting it hard hard hard and I saw some awesome strength gains and some size but it is slightly hard to tell through the fat. but NOW.
So my conclusion is that I"m sick of not having any abs and being a fatty so I jumped back on the competition diet and started doing my hour of cardio again. and in 2 weeks i’ve gone from 189 to 173. And I’m very surprised I made some great muscle gains over the past month. I’m curious if having spiked my insulin all day everyday before during after lifting with all the sweets and cakes and stuff if that helped in putting on some mass. I plan to do some research on the idea/topic of 1-2 week spurts of crazy eating while lifting hard as hell and to see what kind of results come of it.
Anyways HOpe you enjoyed reading this I want to get more involved on the website!
also check out my new video you might find it entertaining
I know I did.

The trick is to find a happy medium between not eating anything and eating an entire cake every night. You need a ton of calories to put on mass and gain strength, so much that sometimes you have to force feed yourself. When everything is working correctly you should gain about 1 pound of muscle a week. You can do it without gaining too much fat, but you will have to allow yourself to gain a little. You can even keep doing cardio, just no where near as frequently as you do. Be careful with bouncing from one extreme to the other, our bodies aren’t meant for that and if practiced regularly you can do some serious abuse to your body. Great show pics by the way!
