Cardio

I am taking about a 4 day break from lifting weights because my back is sore from work.Plus I figure I need to the little rest break anyways.I will do cardio though and I will try to do about 1 hour and a half a day not including playing basketball.So I will see how much progress I can get from doing this.

Yesterday I worked chest & back and I only did 35 minutes of cardio.Today I worked arms and including PT that I had today;I did over 2 & half hours of cardio.I know people will probably say that this is to much cardio but I really like doing cardio.It allows me to think and clears my mind;plus I can continue to push myself when I feel tired to do a few more minutes.

I worked arms doing 8 exercises at 3 x 10 and I did a little over an hour & half of cardio.My goal is to do 2 hours of cardio a day but I was to had gotten hungry and started to feel drained.I am preparing for my pt test and I will lose those the weight to meet my goal.
Row bike:35,220 cals
Treadmill:35,500 cals
Elliptical:30,400 cals
Stairmaster:7,80 cals

Total-1:47 min,1127 cals

I worked out 3 days in a row.Wednesday I did Chest/Back,Thursday Triceps/Biceps and today Shoulders/Legs;also I did an hour and half of cardio each day.So now I just need to work on getting my diet together again.But I feel a lot better now since I am back to training.

Dickin’ the dog….

or standing around stroking your ****,two phrases from my Petty Officer at boot camp which meant we were doing nothing instead of training.Considering I am not training at the moment those phrases just happen to pop back into my mind.I have enjoying my leave time with family and friends,I guess I could have worked also but I chose not too.I don’t feel guilty because I figured I wouldn’t be able to see them for a while.I will be back in the gym and working hard in about 2 days, since I will be in a new place and learning to do my job;I will need my workout time to help me deal with the stress that come along with it.That means new stats,pics and quest for muscles.I have decided to see how wide can I make my back and still chase those abs.So in the words of the Petty Officer "this isn’t band camp,candy land stop standing around thinking of sweet tarts & treats,should be training".So that is it I should be training and I will be training but after I finish packing,geez,I hate packing!!!Then of to Oahu.

Oh judging from the title looks like a ShanBL blog,lol,don’t worry Mrs Lishicious my blogs can’t match yours.

Starting again

Well I went away for boot camp for 2 months,I realized I don’t enjoy pt as much as being in a gym.I did lose 15lbs while at boot camp but it wasn’t the same.So I went to my A school enjoyed a little freedom which included being able to go to a gym plus pt which was quite better.I didn’t lose any weight because of the fact I wasn’t on a strict diet.On the bright side I did not gain fat either it was like a balance of putting on muscle.But now that I am going to my duty station I will be able to work on my diet and watch what I eat.So hopefully I will be able to finally get those elusive abs I have been hunting.I must say I did enjoy myself for the 4th since it will be my last home cooked meal for a while;I will start my heavy dose of cardio again.Time to get it started again!

That is what I am doing for now on untill I leave for boot camp.It is about 40 yards,15 yards and 25 incline.I do it for an hour minimum and after that I just run till I feel like quitting then I run one more and then stop.I hope this will undo the holidays and my months of slacking.I know one thing I feel a lot better since I have started doing the sprints and back to eating healthy again.It is 100% clean but it is at least above 86%;the percentage will only increase though!

Headaches!!

My headaches(mild,tension,migraines) are back an the only change has been my eating.So I guess I know what this means,I really need to go back to my complete clean eating.While I was eating clean from March-September I can’t remember ever having a headache or maybe I was so determine & focus that I didn’t let them enter my mind.But either way now I am for sure that even though cheesecake and cream cheese pies are MMMMMMMMMMMmmMMMMMMMMdelicious that if I want to keep my sanity I will have to eat clean.So it is really time to "Hide the Bacon","Get rid of the Piggie","Fight the Fat" or whatever nickname you would like to give it;it is time.So penny08 put your cookies away,I have put my cheesecake away;it is time for our leg competition!lol

The temptation of Wendy

The fast food chain not a prostitute although I am not sure which one is worse;one would make me fat the other would make me itchy but I digress,lol.I really wanted a double stack,fries & a milkshake but I got a grilled chicken wrap and coke zero instead.I started to use old excuse "I will just start over tomorrow" but I decided that wasn’t going to get me 30lbs lighter just add 5lbs of guilt.I know it is completely healthy but it is better than what I really wanted and I have no guilt.So now when I go running I will have less calories & fat to burn.

Structure

I have decided I need a little structure to my meal plan.I have tried a meal plan before and I didn’t follow it completely because it was suppose to be followed exactly.This plan is about 50/50 it is fixed but it gives me the choice of which type of protein I would like to eat.So I can eat whatever I have the taster for at that time whether it is fish,chicken,turkey or beef.I will stick to this and hopefully I will lose that 30lbs,then I will have met my overall goal.By March 3rd I hope or shall I say I will be 30lbs lighter!!

As for Sunday,I will probably just have some type of pasta so it won’t be a full fledged cheat.
Sunday:

High-carb day (Cheat day. Eat whatever you want.)

Monday, Tuesday:

Medium carb day (100-150 grams of carbs)
o Eat six meals with protein for each meal
o Eat one serving of complex carbs in three of the meals
o Eat green veggies in four of the meals.
o Eat a salad for one of the veggie meals with Italian dressing

Wednesday, Thursday:

Low-carb day (no starches)
o Eat six meals with protein and veggies for each meal

Friday, Saturday:

Medium carb day (100-150 grams of carbs)
o Eat six meals with protein for each meal
o Eat one serving of complex carbs in three of the meals
o Eat green veggies in four of the meals.
o Eat a large salad for one of the veggie meals with Italian dressing

Repeat cycle.
