I was wondering if using weights with my ab work outs will make them extremely bigger.I would like them to be strong but I don’t want to increase the size of them.Or does it even matter, will abs grow like other muscles will?

I always heard abs are made in the kitchen. My trainer tells me to never train my abs with any kind of weights or weight resistance, do all ab work straight on ,crunches, leg lifts, bicycles. Best of luck
From my experience, it wasn’t until I added weights that my abs began to change. My pregnancy left me with alot of stretchmarks and loose skin. I can honestly say, now, is best they have ever looked. My favorites non weighted excercises are hanging knee raises and standing ab work. I also like cable crunches and using the ball.
