When I decided to clean up my diet at the end of March,I got the usual questions and comments at work. You know,Why are you eating,What is the point of all it,I just don’t understand what you are doing,You are not going to stick to it,One piece of won’t hurt,Who will know,Michael why are you not eating with us… etc. They didn’t think I was going to lose the weight but so far I have lost 47lbs and I still about 30 shy of what I would like.So now I hear Michael you are just wasting away,You need to eat,Why are you still eating like that and so on;so I realize people will say what they want.No matter which you go people will hate,so you might as well do whatever the hell makes you happy.

There is always going to be people who make negative comments because they see you achieving what they wish they could. Whether its envy or just plain evilness, I find it very sad because sometimes the comments can come from those closest to you. you just have to keep your focus and do what will make you happy and proud of yourself. And Michael, you should be so proud of yourself because you have the discipline and determination it takes to realize your goals.

I completely understand! I face criticism if I gain weight and criticism if I loose weight. More so when I start to loose weight. I hear things like "Your face is getting too thin" and "You’ve lost color in your skin" — both of which I know are not true. I eat a healthy, balanced diet and even allow myself little cheats now and then.
Here’s what it boils down to - jealousy. People who criticize you for SETTING goals and STICKING TO THEM are just jealous of your will power, jealous that you have the ability to control what goes into your mouth and how you spend your free time.
