TGIF - Biceps & Triceps

Good workout although it was difficult to stay motivated.
Just not enough "Umph" in me I guess.

Workout included:
EZ-Bar Curls - 3 sets of 21s, 45#, 65#, 55#
EZ-Bar Overhead Tricep Extensions
Incline Alternating DB Curls
Slight Incline EZ-Bar Skull Crushers
Standing Alternating DB Hammer Curls
Cable Rope Tricep Press Downs
Bent-Over Over-Head Cable Rope Tricep Extensions
Standing Cable Rope Hammer-type curls (Two Handed)

Healthy Walk afterwards … the mutts were exhausted. :)

Thursday - Shoulders and Wind Sprints!

Today I worked Shoulders and then went outside and ran 100 yard
wind sprints. Whew!

Shoulders
Smith Mach. Seated Military Press to 1×6x150#
Seated DB Lateral Raise (Singles) to 1×8x35#
Seated Alternating DB Front Raise to 1×6x35#
Smith Mach. Wide Grip Bent-Over High Row to 1×6x130#
*** Works Rear Delts don’t cha know :) ***
6am Weigh-in … 166 lbs. Really? I weighted 172.5 on Sunday!
Can I really trust my scales? LOL

Hump Day Back & Traps

Pretty good Back & Traps workout today, used the Hooks some
and followed it all up with some walking and sprints!

Front BB Shrug
Wide-Grip Lat Pull Downs

The Sun finally stuck around today and it hasn’t rained, Finally!

Monday - Holiday Chest & Cardio

Pretty humbling Chest workout with a little cardio thrown in.
I really like Bally’s better for weights and 24-Hour for Cardio
however Bally’s closed at 2pm today so I wound up doing it all
at 24-Hour Fitness. With Bally’s future looking grim, guess I
need to get used to doing weights at 24-Hour as well.

Chest
Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral Decline Press
Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral Incline Press
BB Flat Bench Press (very humbling)
Free Motion Cable Flys (Kinda like this one)

Followed up lifting with 20 minutes of Treadmill
Uphill to an incline of 7.0 and a speed of 3.3 Not a barn-burner
but I worked up a sweat. Heart-rate check showed 121.
This morning’s weigh-in showed 172.5 so I gained a couple pounds
eating CRAP these past 4 days. Ready to get back on track again.

Friday - I turned 60 today!

Since Friday was my 60th birthday I celebrated by:
1) Cleaning Dog crap outa the yard before the trashmen came
2) Doing the previous day’s dishes
3) Mowing the lawn
4)Fixing my laptop
and then ….
I got a good Shoulders & Arms workout in
and then ….
my kids thew me a Birthday Party!! Oh yeah!

The only real bummer part of the day was I didn’t get a
ride in. But the days are a come’n! :)

35 Min. Treadmill + 25 Min. Eliptical Trainer

This morning’s weigh-in … 167.5lbs.
I turn 60 tomorrow! OH NO!! :)

Wednesday (Hump Day) Back & Traps

Weigh-in this morning … 166.0 Can that be right? That would mean I lost 4 pounds since Sunday morning!!
Ok, to celebrate I went and had a 1/2 cheeseburger, Fries, and a Chocolate Malt with EXTRA Malt at Red Top for lunch!

Great Back & Traps workout this afternoon!

A good although humbling Chest workout!
consisted of multi-angled bench presses and some
EZ-Bar Pull-overs.
Hadn’t done Incline DB Bench presses in awhile and
you could sure tell … pretty sad.
