Saturday - Shoulders & Triceps

Pretty good work out this morning :)

Shoulders & Triceps
Smith-Mach Seated Mil. Press
Seated DB Lateral Raise (Single Arm)
Seated DB Front Raise (Tandem)
Smith-Mach. Limited ROM Close-Grip Bench
Slight-Incline EZ-Bar Overhead Tricep Extentions

Only one more day before I’ve completed my Workout Log and
need to start using my new Workout log! Whoohoo!
Recovery Day Sunday, Dad’s Funeral Monday … so next workout
will be Tuesday probably.

Friday - Back Problems? Work the Back!

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Woke up with lower back pain (not too severe) so decided
I’d work my Back this morning. Not something I’d usually
recommend, but it does seem to work for me. As long as I’m
careful that is.

Back
BB Dead Lift to 1×8x205#
BB Shrug to 1×8x205#
Lat Pull Downs to 1×6x140#
Hammer-Strength Iso-Lat Low Rows to 1×8x90# each Side
DB Shrug to 1×7x90#

Not an overly impressive workout, but since my arm still
gives me fits when doing Back and Bicep moves I think I did
pretty well. I mean …. it IS Friday you know?! LOL

Oh yeah, only two more workouts and I’ll be finished with this
Workout Log!! Whoohoo! I started it on Nov. 19th 2007. Of course
I HAVE skipped some workouts. LOL

Thursday - Back to work (Chest)

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

After a very trying week or so, I finally made it back to
the gym this morning for a Chest Workout.

Chest
Smith Mach. Incline Bench (Inc. 3) 4 sets, 40 reps total
Smith Mach. Incline Bench (Inc. 2) 4 sets, 40 reps total
Smith Mach. Incline Bench (Inc. 1) 4 sets, 40 reps total
LifeFitness Seated Flye: 1×10x75#, 1×10x80#, 1×10x90#, 1×10x105#

I’ll be sore later for sure! Didn’t go as heavy as I could
because it’s been while, plus I went for at least 40 reps per
exercise today with 45 - 60 seconds between sets.
I also decided, what the heck, it’s time to return to my supplements.
I’ll be alternating Smash, NO-Xplode, and Magnum Serum

Wednesday - Back & Traps

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

Pretty good workout today, I think my arms needs
more recovery from the Pulling motions of doing
Back and Trap work .. not to mention Bicep work.

Today’s workout consisted of Smith-Mach Dead Lifts,
Smith-Mach. BB Shrugs, Hammer-Strength Iso-Lat High and
Iso-Lat Low Rows, Seated Wide-Grip and Wide-Neutral Grip
Lat Pull Downs as well as Standing DB Shrugs using my Hooks.
Right Bicep-to-Elbow connection is painful this evening.
Depressing to say the least.

Tuesday - Chest

A good workout, I lifted as heavy as I could but it
seem like I’m lifting lighter than I was. I did go
back on my Pre-Workout Supplements a tad early. Like I was
only off them for 2 weeks! I admit it, I’m a supplement junkie! :)

Monday - Legs

Monday, February 16th, 2009

No Holiday for me! :(
Since my arms are still sore from their workout Saturday
I decided to do some leg work. Not a whole lot mind you.

Legs
45* Leg Press
Interspersed with some Calf Presses
Seated Leg Extensions
Lying Leg Curls

A short but intense workout which cooked my legs pretty good.
Well for an old man that is! LOL

Saturday - Arms

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

Just a note to say I took Thursday and Friday off from
lifting. Then this morning I worked Arms. I couldn’t go
too heavy because of my right bicep, but I had a good
workout just the same.

Wednesday - Chest & Triceps

Worked out even after having a tooth pulled this morning
in preparation for bridge work. Ugh! Good workout though!

EZ-Bar Slight Incline Overhead Tricep Extensions
Flat Bench Close-Grip Bench Press (For Reps)

I miss being able to work my Biceps, hopefully my arm will
get better one of these days and I can get back to it!

Tuesday - Mediocre Back W/O

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

I had to take it kind of easy again working my back
due to my Right Arm issue. Any kind of heavy pulling
motion is a no-no.  But I had to do SOMETHING!
