Wednesday - Back Day

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Happy Hump Day
Today I worked my Back and although I lifted as heavy
as I safely could, I’d really like to do better.
All in good time I suppose. I went at a time of day where
the gym is way overcrowded, so that didn’t help either.

Back routine consisted of:
Seated Cable Rows (V-Bar)
Wide-Grip Lat Pull Downs
Bent-Over BB Rows (I hate those)
Iso-Lat High Rows
DB Rows

Tuesday - LEGS!

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Really great workout today! LEGS will suffer
the consequences over the next few days though!

Leg Workout consisted of:
Smith-Machine Squats (feet about shoulder width apart)
Stiff-Leg Dead Lifts
Seated Hamstring Curls
45* Leg Presses
superset with
Calf Presses (on Leg Press Machine)
Seated Leg Extensions

I hit some PR’s in the Dead Lift, or at least it’s been a very
long time since I lifted as heavy as I did today!
It feels good to lift heavy again!!

Monday .. again? Chest Work today

I had an excellant Smith-Machine Chest workout
today. Both my Flat Bench and Incline Bench were
performed on the Smith-Machine so I could lift as
heavy as possible for 4 - 6 reps

Chest Workout consisted of:
Smith-Machine Flat Bench Press
Smith-Machine Incline Bench Press
Free-Weight Decline Bench Press
ISO-Wide Seated Chest Press

Saturday - Shoulders

Since I wimped out yesterday and didn’t work out,
I went ahead and hit Bally’s for my Friday Shoulder
Routine. Got in a great 50 minute workout!

AM Shoulders included
Smith-Mach. Mil. Press
DB Side/front Raise Supersets
DB Incline Rear/front Raise Supersets
Seated (back supported) DB Mil. Press

All in all a good workout

HAPPY THANKSGIVING - LEGS!

that I’d slack off … NO WAY!

Smith-Mach. Frog Squats
Stiff Leg Dead Lift

Supersets of:
45 Degree Leg Press & Calf Press

I’m gonna HURT in the morning … Now for the Feast!!

Wednesday - Tuesday’s Back Make-up

Since I missed last night, I decided to just push
my routine out a day, instead of trying to double up.

Back consisted of:
Lat Pulldowns
ISO-Lat Low Row
ISO-Lat High Row
Weighted Hyper-Extensions

Felt every bit of it!!

Flat DB Bench Press
Decline BB Bench Press
DB Flyes

Saturday - Recovery day … Nahhhhh!

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

Instead I headed to the gym and did a high rep
Quad and Calf workout. The Hamstring machines were
all being used.
Looks like I’m going to be FORCED to do Dead Lifts if
this keeps up! LOL

Workout consisted of:
Hack Squats - 20 reps each set
Leg Press - 20 Reps each set

Supersetted with Calf Presses
Leg Extensions - 20 Reps each set

Cardio:
Only 10 Min. on the Stationary Bike - Random Hills

Friday - ARM day

Friday, November 16th, 2007

I think Arm day is my favorite, even though my left
forearm is still giving me fits so Hammer Curls have
to be kept light.

Arms consisted of:
Straight Bar Curls Supersetted with
Close-Grip Bench Press
EZ Bar Skull Crushers

DB Hammer Curls Supersetted with
Standing DB Wrist curls

Tricep Cable Pressdowns Supersetted with
45# plate Standing Grip-hold
That’s where you hold a plate in each hand (finger tips)
for as long as you can.


All in all a great workout to wind out the week!!

Thursday - Shoulder Work

Great Shoulder workout today consisting of:
Seated DB Mil. press
Kneeling Smith-Machine Mil Press
DB Lateral Raises
Incline DB Front/Rear Raises

Spent an hour in the gym … I wanted to do ABs
too, but was too pooped and out of time.
