Well I only have 3 weeks until my due date! I’ve have been busy preparing the room and getting all the last minute things! Wow there are so many things you need for a baby, its incredible. I have really enjoyed my pregnancy and can’t wait to finally meet her.
I have still been able to do some light training. Walking, stationary bike for cardio and i have been doing some toning at home with light hand weights. I have also been making sure to continue to work my transverse abs and pelvic floor!! (VERY important for us ladies!) And stretching has become my best friend to help ease all the little niggly aches and pains you get in the latter part of pregnancy.
I have always been very good with my food. Probably even more so during my pregnancy, making sure I get fresh, healthy wholesome foods in and only a few treats along the way (I have to have my favourite - "cookies and cream" ice-cream sometimes on the weekends!!) I cut out all my protein supplements during my pregnancy as they are not suitable for pregnancy and replaced them with ‘real’ foods. The only supplements I am taking now is a pregnancy multi vitamin and fish oil.
I have found eating well and light exercise throughout my pregnancy has helped me to feel great and gain healthy weight.
Well i guess next time I post a blog I will have a little baby girl to talk about! I look forward to getting back into some hard training after the birth etc..After seeing all the fabulous fit moms on this website i know it can be done. No doubt it will take a lot of hard work but i’m up for the challenge!
Happy training everyone!
