It has been 3 weeks since the birth of my first baby and I can’t believe that she has finally arrived, she is just the most beautiful little baby girl! Her name is Zara Djamirze. I am enjoying every moment with her.
I look forward to getting back into training once my Dr gives me the all clear.
Happy training everyone xx

Well I only have 3 weeks until my due date! I’ve have been busy preparing the room and getting all the last minute things! Wow there are so many things you need for a baby, its incredible. I have really enjoyed my pregnancy and can’t wait to finally meet her.
I have still been able to do some light training. Walking, stationary bike for cardio and i have been doing some toning at home with light hand weights. I have also been making sure to continue to work my transverse abs and pelvic floor!! (VERY important for us ladies!) And stretching has become my best friend to help ease all the little niggly aches and pains you get in the latter part of pregnancy.
I have always been very good with my food. Probably even more so during my pregnancy, making sure I get fresh, healthy wholesome foods in and only a few treats along the way (I have to have my favourite - "cookies and cream" ice-cream sometimes on the weekends!!) I cut out all my protein supplements during my pregnancy as they are not suitable for pregnancy and replaced them with ‘real’ foods. The only supplements I am taking now is a pregnancy multi vitamin and fish oil.
I have found eating well and light exercise throughout my pregnancy has helped me to feel great and gain healthy weight.
Well i guess next time I post a blog I will have a little baby girl to talk about! I look forward to getting back into some hard training after the birth etc..After seeing all the fabulous fit moms on this website i know it can be done. No doubt it will take a lot of hard work but i’m up for the challenge!
Happy training everyone!

So happy that spring has finally arrived in sydney! No more colds and flu’s and nasty weather….Looking forward to a hot summer!
I haven’t written a blog in a while. A lot has happened over the past months with myself, I am expecting my first baby on the 1st Nov so I am eargerly awaiting and preparing for that. I am feeling great and loving being pregnant and I can’t wait to meet the little one!
I have just finished filming my pregnancy workout DVD. We are now putting it all together and it should be ready to launch around Dec, Jan. The reason I decided to do the DVD is because a lot of women don’t know what type of exercise they can do when their pregnant and what they must be careful with and because of all the confusion, most just don’t do anything for nine months and are left feeling tired, unmotivated and unhappy with their bodies. We can exercise when we are pregnant and it is beneficial to us both during pregnancy as well as bouncing back into shape afterwards. Providing we do the right things, don’t go stupid and listen to our bodies, exercise makes you feel energised and good about yourself when you are pregnant. So please watch out for my DVD!
I also did a photo shoot and i will post some of my photos up on the site when I get them back.
Happy training everyone!

Hi Everyone,
Well it feels so good to be back at the gym. I enjoyed my break but I missed working out and the way it makes you feel. It’s just so addicitve!
I really watched what I ate during my time off so i haven’t gained anything, I just feel a little soft. But now I have started lifting again I’m sure that feeling will go away soon. I’m going to put some new photos up soon so be sure to check them out and tell me what you think!
Healthy Wishes,
Lauren xx

Hi Everyone,
I can’t believe that 2009 is only 2 days away! This year has flown by.
I am on a 2 week break from the gym and I’m on holidays from work so it’s been nice just relaxing and spending time with my family and friends. As hard as it is to stay away from the gym, it’s doing my body a whole lotta good! I think you need some time away from the gym every now and again. It’s not only good for your body its also good for your mind. Gives you a chance to sit back and re focus your training and set yourself some new goals.
I have also had a chance to try some different things like surfing (I was bad but I will get better!) which was fun. I guess it’s a little easier for me because it’s summer in Sydney at the moment so I can still stay active and enjoy the sunshine. I was swimming at Bondi Beach just yesterday and it was gorgeous! I feel for all you guys who are in the cold!
I am looking forward to 2009. I have just started to write out my goals for the new year and I find it so motivating.
Well Happy New year everyone! May 2009 bring everyone health and success!
Healthy wishes,
Lauren x

Hi Everyone,
Well thank god my back injury was nothing serious. I did some rehab stuff and took a few days off and now I feel great!
I am back into my training and clean eating. I can’t believe that its almost Xmas! I have decided to do a mini challenge in the lead up to Xmas with a few fitness friends and myself so that we keep training and eating clean. I normally train by myself but its been fun to train with other people. We are all sharing different programs and mixing up our training sessions which has been great. Its good to set yourself mini goals along the way, it really helps with motivation…
Happy training.
Lauren.

Hi Everyone,
Well I’m in a bad mood because I have pulled a muscle in my lower back and I’m in pain! I did it by lifting something that was too heavy into the boot of my car (stupid! should have asked for help I know) It’s nothing serious, just frustrating because I was feeling so good and training was going well. I can still do stuff but I just have to take it easy so it doesn’t get worse.
I always practice super good form inside the gym, maybe I should listen to myself and apply it outside the gym lol…That will teach me!
Have a great week everyone,
Lauren xx

Hi Everyone,
Well my break was so nice and I feel energised and ready to get back into it!
This week I am going to take it a little easy because I have had nearly 2 weeks off. So light weights and a little cardio along with super good food.
I am looking forward to this weekend. I am going to film an outdoor style workout at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach, so check back for the video!
Have a great week everyone.
