Changing Reps

So normally I do 4 sets of every exercise and i do reps of 15,12,10, and as many as possible on the fourth set… Im thinking of maybe switching to a higher rep and lower weight alternative… I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on a possible new plan because Im not sure on what exactly I should do… Any advice is greatly appreciated! :)

There are a number of ways you could switch it up. You could go higher weight lower reps (I wouldn’t go any lower than 8) , or use and variation of drop, compound, super, or giant sets to increase your reps even higher! No matter wich you chose it is always better to keep your body shocked with constant variety!

I would try low reps-heavy weight one week, then high-reps-light weight the next week, and then just alternate. That’ll really shock your muscles and keep ‘em guess.

BTW - Thanks for responding to my recent blog. Apparently, weight training has done you quite well:-) Keep it up!
