thanks for the blog comments!!! what workouts do you use for your legs? they look great! thats def. my problem area right now.

i recently split my leg workouts… i do hamstrings and quads separately… for hamstrings I do mainly lunges, sitting leg curls, and kneeling leg curls… for quads i do squats, leg press, leg extensions and then i throw in some different things but those are my consistent exercises.

I envy your legs too! How heavy do you lift on the big lifts, like leg press and squat? I have a similar build and really started seeing results when I started to go heavy and use the "guy weights". The amazing thing is that my legs got so strong so fast that I quickly got to pretty heavy weights. I’m curious if any of the girls my size (all respect to the bodybuilders on this site but i’m not quite there…) lift heavy too. I know I have to but it is hard to shake that ingrained fear of lifting heavy that society seems to put on us girls. The funny thing is that my b/f loves the new look which I am thrilled about but I guess was to be expected - - but he also is really, and i mean really, turned by my actual strength. I can’t say too much more without getting weirdly personal but I wonder if other girls are finding that?
