I totally feel like I have been slacking recently but not purposely… Ive been so busy between student teaching, class, and work… my workouts have been shorter and meals havent been as balanced; its starting to take a toll on me. Im counting down until Easter break when the load will lighten up a bit so i can put more effort on my workouts again but I really hope that the damage wont be too bad… 3 more weeks, at least i can look forward to being able to dedicate more time to my workouts again

Ugh so I feel pretty sick at the moment; I took an impulse trip down to North Carolina with my mother to visit my grandparents and it’s a little rough. First of all I have to manage 4 days without the gym but if that isn’t bad enough I have to combine that with her cooking… which is amazing of course… but not at all what I am used to. I’m trying to eat enough to be polite because I know that it makes her happy (and I haven’t been down here in years) but it is killing me. I guess I am thinking I will get rest down here because when I get back to NY on Thursday I am going to be going all out in the gym. There are definitely good and bad things to be said about vacations. Anyway hope everyone is doing well! And wish me luck for when i get back on Thurs haha

So normally I do 4 sets of every exercise and i do reps of 15,12,10, and as many as possible on the fourth set… Im thinking of maybe switching to a higher rep and lower weight alternative… I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on a possible new plan because Im not sure on what exactly I should do… Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I am sooo excited, tomorrow will officially end my fall semester, that means only 1 more semester until I graduate
Im really hoping that my grades will bring my overall GPA up to a 3.9 but we’ll see (I’m at a 3.876 now) im just happy to have a little less stress in my life… anywho enough about school… now that classes are ending im going to spend more time in the gym and finally switch up my workouts. Im also going to start the ISSA certification which im pretty pumped about. so much has changed in the past 6 months; i cant believe 6 months ago i never went to the gym and was battling anorexia… soo much happier now

I really think this semester is killing me slowly… just trying to remember that I’ll be graduating in a few months but it’s miserable right now. I should be finishing my thesis right now but I think I might burn it if I look at it again so I’m taking a little break from reality. Anyway I am counting down until it is December 8th and I finish my last final exam then I can look forward to Christmas and beginning studying for my personal trainer certification, I can’t wait! I’m pretty excited to read something that’s in English again haha aside from my 30 page Spanish thesis. Looking forward to hitting the gym even harder and getting back into gymnastics again because it’s been too long. Alright I’m done venting; back to thesis haha have a nice night everyone!

I have always been intrigued by fitness competitions and am now starting to consider looking into training for fitness; I have a background in gymnastics but aside from that I have no idea what I am doing. i was wondering if anyone could help me out and provide me with some information on how I could get started in this field. I live on Long Island (NY) and I dont think there are many opportunities out here but I am willing to do what it takes so any information to point me in a general direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!

I started working out in June in order to put on weight after battling anorexia but I have gotten hooked since then. I go to the gym everyday and normally workout one body part each day with some abs as well. However I’m looking to change up my program or implement some new things but I need some advice… my gym is really small and is the majority of the clients are old people so there isn’t anyone to talk to that I can learn from. If anyone has any advice for me or just wants to talk about their experiences let me know; I’d love someone to talk to!
Thanks!
