First home made shake
Thursday, May 31st, 2007I was thinking of other ways to replace a meal and get my protein at the same time. And I was fooling around with my blender so I made a nice tasting Peanut Butter shake.
Here are the ingredients:
1 CUP peanut butter, (look for low sugars)
1/4 CUP lowfat chocolate syrup
1/4 CUP lowfat milk/skim milk OR 1% milk
12 WHOLE ice cubes
1 FULL scoop of your favorite Whey Protein mix
Then, frappe until its nice and smooth. But be warned, it is a bit thick, so just add either ice cubes or some more lowfat milk to it and mix it again. And you’ll get a great tasting meal that also has your supplement in it.
Oh yes, it makes enough for FOUR people, so drink about 1/4 of it, and save the rest for another meal that day or the next day. Don’t go drinking the whole thing. I made a mistake by drinking the whole thing.
