Re-assessing my goals

Unless I can lose 20lbs in 2 weeks I am going to miss my goal.  I am having a hard time finding balance and time for myself to work out.  I get up at 4:30 to get ready for my first client, run home take my oldest to school. Train clients again for 2 hours run home and school 3 of my kids, then leave at 2 to drive/pick up everyone and get them to their designated places before I get myself to work at 4 and then work till 9.  WHEN can I actually work.  Lately, I have been stealing 15 minutes here and there, but I really miss the "me" time I get when I have an hour and half to work out.  I honestly am not complaining because I am so grateful that I can work and still homeschool my kiddos, I just need help figuring out how I can get some "me" time to work out.

I have pulled out my food journal again to keep track of my eating. I have found that when I am running around and not planning my meals I eat less than healthy.  So along with my journal I have planned out the rest of the month out for meals. Hopefully that will take some of the guess work out and the family can help out with the meals.

I am hoping that getting back here I will carve/steal some more time for myself and get re-motivated.

Any suggestions are more than welcomed.

I’m a first time home schooler for my one 5 year old daughter. Great for you to be able to do that for your kids! I hope you find time for you too though! I know how you feel, it is hard to juggle all that and find time for your workout and good food. Good luck and keep it up!

Trust me I feel your pain. Having a high stress job like mine can really take a toll on your body. What works for me is prioritizing when you can. I think if you plan to fail you will and if you plan to succeed you will as well. Maybe your goal is too aggressive but don’t beat yourself up because you didn’t reach it just try your best and measure you success. I mean I want to look like brad pitt in troy by my birthday in feb but if I don’t make it I will still be healthier than I was on my 39th. I think goal setting is great as long as we can applaud ourselves for the success we do achieve even if its not accomplished 100%. So keep your chin up and you’ll be fine. That’s my 2 cents…
