Well one holiday season, one massive breakup, and about a 3% bodyfat gain later I’m finally back in the gym! Thank god for that! With a photo shoot just around the corner, and no girlfriend ( there goes 3 years down the drain…) I feel like I can put more than enough focus into being the best that i can be!

Has anyone seen the documentary yet? I seriously suggest seeing it if you are a fitness enthusiast. It portrays a really rounded and unbiased view looking into the world of steroid use and it really makes you think. I mean due to my age and the fact that my body produces hormones at a primo rate (good job body, keep up the good work) I still believe that if you can pour toxins into your body at alarming rates: Smoking, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Alcohol, Trans Fats; and people see it as a perfectly normal way of life, why can’t fitness enthusiasts improve their physique using anabolic substances? These are the same substances that are looked on in a completely different light when perscribed for illnesses or broken bones, but when used for the advancement of someones physique they are schedualed substances with serious consequences!!!??? Another thing that I don’t understand is why it is ok to have plastic surgery or lap bands when it is not ok to use anabolics? When you are anesthnitized for surgery you take a great risk, every time there is a 25% chance that you won’t wake up! That means that there are millions of deaths a year due to anesthesia and how many people are steroids kilking? Lap bands are extremely invasive surgeries which carry great risks and at the least a long and painful road to recovery for the patients recieving these procedures… Why is it that these things are considered perfectly adequate methods of modifying physical appearances but anabolic substances are likened to heroine and crack? Any comments, insight, or rebuttles are welcome on this subject.

Well i just got back from today’s workout and its amazing how some days just chew you up and spit you out. I worked shoulders and Bi’s today and did some ab work and I pushed myself pretty hard. I feel good about it though and i just want to say that for everyone out there who feels like they can’t make it all the way through to remember that every rep, every Lb, every ounce of effort that you pour into that physique is going to pay off. I just have to remind myself of that sometimes.
