Cardio: 3 Miles SPEEDY-style around lovely Bainbridge Island~
The thing about *legs day* is I L<3VE the SWEAT…I get drenched..

every part of my bod hurrrrtttzzzzz~~~*kisses muscles*
soooo worn & tired~(despite all the glutamine & proper nutrition, wth!)
In fact, in the evening, propped up in bed with my laptop, I crashed, sitting, not even aware I fell asleep!
That meant no casein shake, mascara still on, teeth not even BRUSHED (soo eww, heaven help my OCD!)…
Woke up at 4 AM, Lucid Dreams of the Epic Adventures of Ladycole on my mind and not sure where I was or what happened…(no joke, my dream included an old Indiana Jones-style Jeep, a Jungle, me climbing and swing from hanging vines, rushing rivers, my Jeep “jumping” the river, etc…normal for me. Meh! *rollseyes*)
ANYWAY, MY POINT is that Heavy lifting sure works the MIND & BODY…
power evident in what it takes & drains…looking forward to what it GIVES back.

Okay, got home with 45 min. left open at the gym…so SPRINTED the half mile to the gym and then GOT TO WORK.
Dis girl be all sweaty~ and gruntin~

Back:
Pull-ups (28 lbs. assisted for now) 3 x 12
Wide Grip Pull Down 3 x 12
One Arm Row 3 x 12
Seated Row 3 x 12
Lower Back Extension 3 x 12
Abs:
3 sets of series:
Full Body Crunches
Slooooow Bicycles
Vertical Toe touches
Vertical Toe touches with arm crisscross
Weighted Ball Supersets with obliques
Okay, #1: My ENTIRE body hella hurts.
#2: I’m really hungry, even though I had a gigantic dinner.
#3: My muscles are so fatigued I could barely shave in the shower…it was a *serious* health hazard (fo sho, but no cuts)
#4: I notied a lot of the boys spend more time lookin cool, than liftin in da gym. PuSsiEs.
#5: I wanna whine some more about how much my body hurts….feel free to PM me about it. ANYTIME. Really…
Now, Nutrition:
breakfast: whey-berry-flax-wheatgerm-omegaoil-greens-bv itamin shot-shake
snack: high fiber cereal with unsweetened soy milk
(still hungry, so had 2 brown rice cakes with 1 T. raw almond butter, sf rasp. jam)
lunch: ww-wrap, with chicken breast, parm, a lil ls,lf Caesar, a lil bit sf jello, nectarine
pm snack: 1.5 cups TABOULI (fuuuu*k its guuud <~~I made it *hehe), gigantic apple (the way I like em)
preworkout: whey shake
dinner: whole-grain mozz chicken quesadilla, ff sour cream, 4 flax-soy chips with lots fresh salsa, berries w/ a tad ff cool whip, raw sliced almonds on top
SSSSTTTTTIIIIILLLLLLLLLLL HHHUUUUNNNNNGGGGRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY!!!

Lotsa whey shake concoctions, as listed in an earlier blog, along with lean chicken, fresh salsas, ww-tortillas, lowfat mozz, hf-cereals w/ unsweetened soymilk, berries, nectarines, raw almonds, brown rice cakes with nut butter and sugarless jam, and dark chocolate, so dark, it doesnt even count as a cheat! (ra’ight?!)

It’s been a MONTH since I’ve worked out, and about a couple years since I hit the STACKS like the BOYS.
Today was Day ONE…and whatdouknow?
My butt hurts already, and it’s been only 4 hours since my workout.
Legs (3 sets x 10) & Super Abs:
Squats
Lunges
Leg Press
Leg Curls
Seated Calf Raises
Cardio: 3-Miles Running (2-miles 7.5 mph pace, 1-mile 6.5 mph pace)
Hot & suuuweaty in da Gym. Nikki was drenched…forehead, hair, chest,arms, back…glistening, a sight to behold. (Yet, a messy-a$$ ponytail!!) The menz lookin at me & my pro shake like, “Wut? where’d this girl come from?”
*hehe* Whatdouknow again?
All the old peops I complained about in the Rant Thread, in the lifting and yoga classes I was frequenting before…turns out all the boys & men be in the STACKS. Said I had “Good squat form”…
Hell yeah boys, I’m the SQUAT QUEEN. Sit down & take notes.
And for my motivation, I call upon my favorite fellow Scandinavian goddess: ZDENKA PODKAPOVA.
