if you knew, would you.

It interesting to me but if people knew what they were eating would they eat it, or would they eat so much of it, or wouldnt it matter still. More specifically if McDonals put the fat content their Deluxe Breakfast, without Syrup & Margarine (which is 59g of fat by the way (eww)) instead of a mouth watering picture would soo many people order it??? or lets say BK quad staker at 70grams of fat - yummy!! here check these out , see what i mean : http://www.aolhealth.com/diet/basics/high-calorie-frozen-treats?icid=200100397×1204458654x1200186357  … the one that surprises me is the salad from the cheesecake factory. NOw people think “oh a salad, thats good for me..” little do they know its got 76 grams of delicious fat. MMM good! nope i lied, im clicking through it now and i got to a worse one. Quizno’s tuna melt. you think oh tuna, every bodybuilder eats tuna, ill get that. whatever. with that idea in your head you scarf down a wonderful 118grams of the good stuff (fat). And it doesnt get any better after that. I mean who knew a muffin could fit 33grams of fat.

heres more, you might not know: http://www.aolhealth.com/diet/basics/worst-food

My other thing is if you worked on a 100% type diet would you eat the same stuff. what i mean is if you added up all your daily allowences of fat and calories and what not and actually stuck to it, would you eat the same things? Maybe i need an example… ok so you get 2000 calories a day and 65 grams of fat. At 510 (1/4 of your daily amount) calories and 39 grams of fat are you going to chow down on some chocolatly dibs for a midnight snack? If you went by 100% you can barely eat anything else for the day. Why not grab an apple or a granola bar, or yogurt , or special k drizzle for a chocolate fix, or a snack  and that lets you eat a regular size meal.  Hey i know its easier said than done, but it can be done. But trust me i didnt always look like this, i didnt always eat like this. I was a college student, and an architecture major at that. I ate evertyhing out of a box, from a hot pot, or delievered to me.  Knowledge is more powerful than you know. It can scare you straight, or at least thats what happened to me. It can help you to make educated and healthy choices. I know in todays world its all about in and out, quick and easy becuase we are all moving and grooving with our jobs, and families and sometimes its easier to pop something in the microwave or pick something up on the fly. But hey ill come over and cook for you for a week if need be. Lol. just kidding. But really its your heart, take care of it. Dont make it work so hard. :)

I kinda rambled about nothing here and maybe i made absolutly no sense but maybe it did and something will click for someone out there. I can only hope i made a point worth something. lol. if not this is a crappy blog. lol…. im over tired. can ya tell. lol

and we wonder why
