HIIT
Today was awesome! I love doing HIIT. An hour and 15 mins. kicked my butt today. But it felt great!
Treadmil-20 min of 5.5 for two min.
incline at 5.5 for a min.
back down to 0.0 and
6.0 for one min.
Elliptical for 15 min- incline at 6 and intensity at 7 for two min.
incline a 12 and intensity at 13 for one min.
Bicycle for 3 miles- 20 min. level 7 for two min. mpr was at 89
level 3 for two min. mpr was 103
Stairstepper - 20 min. at level 5 for two min. level 13 for one min.

Wow, that’s major cardio. Way to go!
FYI: From what I’ve read this past year, what you did was hard charging intervals, but not actual HIIT. 15 to 30 mins max is HIIT, as you should not be able to go longer, due to being so out of breath & the heart pounding in the chest. I’ve been doing intervals for yrs. In the past yr I’ve ramped up some of my cardio workouts to true HIIT, and I must say I can believe it, that 15 min’s is sufficient. I’m spent!
