okay, I am soooo not reaching my goal.  I am so far off it is not even funny.  I gave myself plenty of time, so my new goal is to loose 24 lbs. by my 35th birthday in April.  If I don’t make this goal I will def. have to invest in a personal trainer.  wish me luck….

I have lost 20 lbs. since starting my journey in April.  Slowly but surely.  29lbs to go.  whoo hoo.  I feel like I am finally getting somewhere.  On Saturday I did a full body strength training session by myself.  I always feel like I am not doing enough.  But today I am alittle sore.  I love that feeling.   So I guess I did push myself harder than I realized.  I don’t have any kind of system.  I just went from machine to machine a couple of times doing 12-15 reps.  I was all over the gym.  There was no one there, it was great.  I also did some free weight stuff.  I need to find some kind of program to go by.

whoohooo!  Got in 2 cardio sessions today.  burned a total of 1192 cals.  Feeling great!  Alittle sore from strength training yesterday. 

This is what I don’t understand.  My first cardio session I did intervals on the treadmill 3.5-3.8 miles an hr. incline up to 4.  (Which I have been doing incline all the way up to 15).  I didn’t sweat alot.  But my hr monitor said I burned 510 cals & 45% fat in that hr.

ok so my second cardio session I did 30 min hill intervals on the arc machine (incline b/w 3-7 & resistance 20-25) & 30 min hill intervals on the stationary bike.  I was sweating my butt off.  & my HR monitor was going crazy beeping at me to slow down.  It said I burned 682 cals & only 25% fat. 

How do you work harder & burn more cals but the % of fat you burn be lower ?

the other day I went & did my cardio…burned 820 cals.  Felt like I did great.  Afterwards I talked to the manager & told him about it.  We started talking about what I ate before my workout.  (ham/turkey, ff cheese, 2 slice whole wheat bread w/ mustard, lettuce and red onion:  maybe 250 cals.)  He informed me that after I burned my first 250 cals.  the rest of the time I was burning my muscle….!!  What!!!!  I am wondering if that is true.  Why would I be burning muscle instead of my fat.? Please tell me this is not true…

Ok so, I have been reading Toscas book.  How simple is eating clean…!  My dumbass keeps getting in the way.  I don’t know what is wrong w/ me.  My diet is the only thing holding me back.  Started off good today. 

up at 830-20 oz H20

10:00-1 c. oatmeal ( I did use a little butter, & 1 pk. of splenda ) & topped it w/ a handful of blueberries & a handful of chopped up apple.  It was delish. 

I have never eaten fruit w/ anything.  always by itself.  Fruit on salads sounds so weird to me.  But my oatmeal w/ soooo good.  Next time there will be no butter or splenda.

1215-smart one, 20 oz h20

290 cals, 8 g fat., 690 sodium, 33 g. carbs, 2 fiber, 4 sugar, 20 protein.

1 slice of apple, 20 oz h20

2pm   gr. tea, w/ 3 splenda

3 hydroxycut max.  1 hr cardio, burned 617 cals.  / 30% fat (not sure what that means)/ HR:  ave. 158=85% / max 182=98%

6 pm   post workout = 20 oz h20, banana

Got in a good cardio session today.  1hr 15 min.  My hr monitor says I burned 872 cals.   1 hr, level 5 weight loss on elliptical. & 15 min on treadmill, incline b/w 10-15.  kept changing the speed & incline.

So excited.  Down 3 lbs. this morning.  Couldn’t believe my eyes.  That gave me the modivation I needed.  Didn’t hit the gym yesterday.  But I will def. be there today.  My goal was to be 164 by this friday.  I have 4 more days to blow even further past that goal.  Maybe even blow past next fridays goal.
