I’m sure plenty of people on here have already written this blog or something similar. I’d like to say we are all adults but not all of us are. Any person can get on the website and view the pictures we post, our kids and parents, our wives and husbands. But that’s not my reasoning for wanting to bring some attention to the activity and/or lack of clothing in the pictures on the site. No they are not illegal pictures and I don’t think bodybuilding.com should be held responsible, I think we ourselves should be held responsible. If someone doesn’t like what they see on someone’s profile they can easily click off of it, I know that. If you don’t like it, then don’t look at it, right? I’m just saying no one should have to get on here and see a guy spread eagle in his nut huggers, no matter your sexual preference or how in shape this gentlemen is. Now men aren’t the only ones, I actually believe I see more women on here pushing the boundries then men. I love women as much as anyone, and I believe we should be able to show off what you and I both know we all worked so hard for, muscle and health and fitness; not our butt cracks or buldges in our underwear or as much breast as possible. There are websites for that. Take your pictures there ladies and gentlemen. I don’t care how in shape or attractive you are, or how out of shape and unattractive you are, this applies to anyone on here that has pictures posted that are questionable. Please, show off your bodies but do it in a tasteful manner. Have a little self respect. This is a bodybuilding website, not a porn site.

so i was watchin a video someone was making fun of earlier because the guy lifting was grunting on every rep. sooooo what?! it iritated me because who cares what other people do in the gym. if it works for them then let them do it, dont make fun. maybe someone in the gym likes to listen to music and bob their head to help getting in the zone, so what, who cares. while all you people are wasting your breathe and time over on the side lines making fun of the sounds people make, they are using everything they got to improve themselves instead of judging your weak a** in the gym, and i bet if you’re doing a lift wrong they would come help you and maybe give you a tip because they remember when they were in your same situation instead of laugh inside about your form being messed up. yes i do make noises in the gym in case you were wondering, and im still gonna come over and try to give you a helping hand if you are doing a lift wrong or could hurt yourself even if the whole time i have been working out, you have been giving me wierd looks.

so im excited. i have been trying to find a triatholon in my area to compete it, not a big one like the iron man or anything, but something to give me something to train for. The other day i was asking around about it and found out about a short one on the 19th of july about 2 hours from where i live. perfect, it gives me about 6 weeks to step up training and get in endurance shape. on top of that i’m hoping to run in the Air Force marathon at wright patterson air force base in september, and even though im stationed all the way up in north dakota, i was planning on going home on vacation anyway in september. seeing as ill already be in pretty good condition for the triatholon, it wont be as hard getting into marathon training having 2 months to devote to that after my triatholon. but to kick this summer off im on a team running for a law enforcement special olympics torch run tomorrow from my base to my city which is 18 miles. the mileage is split up between the members with one person holding the torch at a time for a great cause. anyway, this is all leading up to the AF marathon in 3 1/2 months while im still going to keep up with my weight lifting and try not loose too much weight/ muscle. so ill be doing 2 a days, which i already started a couple days ago, and eating alot more. so wish me luck and if anyone has any tips on training for triatholons and marathons i would greatly appreciate it

gonna go kill my legs in the gym, first time doin legs with out my lifting partner that i have had for 2 years since he decided to be a d*ck and move. we had different views on legs anyway so today will be an excruciating high rep day, but i still wanna try 410 on the squat for 8 to get a new max. its also my first day in a month i have done a heavy leg workout since i took time off for a hamstring injury that i think/ hope is healed. whatever, somebody is gonna have to carry me out to my truck after this

so im outta the house here shortly to do shoulders, traps, and tri’s. its a toss up between my rear delts and my calves that need the most improvement. i cant stand crappy days in the gym so hopefully today isnt one of them. im riding my bike the 2 miles to the gym for a warmup instead of driving like i usually do. so that means when im worn out from my workout i have to ride it back which sucks but i need to do it anyway to keep burnin that evil fat.

delete. thats what i just did to the crap i had written here just a few seconds prior. i was putting some nonsense on here about how much i love chest day, which is today, or somthing like that. whatever. it all is starting to seem like ground hog day lately. over and over. same thing every day. eat every 2 hours because im starving. trying to get excited for the workout of the day. hoping to hit a new max in either weight or reps. same chicken and rice and oatmeal and skim milk etc. same dang songs on the ipod. same people in the gym you dont really want to talk to because you just want to do your workout but you have to be nice because you dont want people to think you’re a dick. whatever. fed up. bored. monotonous. i need a new routine. but i want it to be anything but a routine. screw it, how bout i go moutain biking today for my leg and cardio work out. no need to squat hundreds of pounds till im seeing stars. how bout i see whats goin on with crossfit.com today, try their workout. how bout i pick a small lake and see how many time i can swim across it without gettin hit buy one of the drunk pontooners and jet skiers. i can still eat healthy, of course. but dump my ipod songs and get a whole new library of songs. i know, everyone reading this prob. just gasped when the thought of erasing their hundreds or thousands of precious songs went through their heads. but how about something new. a road untraveled, well, by me anyway. I’ll just work out when i actually feel like it. if i dont then i’ll try something new and unfamiliar. my joints need a break anyway from some of the heavy lifting I’ve been doing the past few years anyway. im guessing playing basketball and backyard football prob wont be much easier on them but at least ill be having fun while doing it. I guess what my issue is, is that i kinda just miss doing a workout on a whim and not even know i was doing a workout, like when i was a kid. It was just me and my friends having fun. Its just that my kind of fun growning up always had athletics involved. i didnt watch tv, or play video games, or sleep in. Sad to say I do that now all too often. and god forbid someone ask me to play a sport the day after a hard leg workout. screw it. im prob. just venting and wont change a darn thing. i’ll get off of here, go take my pre workout supplement crap that costs way to much and go do my " new and exciting" chest workout. but hey, then again, maybe i won’t.

so it seems today is an odds and ends type of day. i have biceps which i dont care to train because it is one of the smallest muscle groups so i get no thrill out of lifting them. also have calfs and abs. but i also am going to work out rear delts. yesturday was shoulder and tri day, which was a very good workout. but i neglected my rear delts on purpose because they need work, i feel, more then any other part of my body. so i am giving them their day seperate from the front and middle heads. so no big weight for me today. no fun. hopefully i can keep the tempo and energy up and get a cardio type workout in without having to step on a treadmill or elliptical. wish me luck.

so i have been sitting in front of a computer all day at work and i need to hit the gym. i have about zero energy after siitting on my butt all day and it is shoulder and tri day. My shoulders are what i think i need the most work on so this isnt good. the supplement im taking right now isnt anything to brag about with the energy factor it gives, so hopefully i find some motivation here pretty quickly or else its gonna be a crap day in the gym, and everyone here knows how great those are. I think i need to invest in some testosterone cause it seems my workouts have been lagging lately. i was hoping to hold off for a couple more years till i had to start investing in test. but we will see. i’ll give it a few more weeks. maybe its just a rough spot right now for me

so i couldnt help it. today i did a light leg workout. had to. cant stand not doing legs. on top of that i played basketball the other day and football yesturday. i know i said i was gonna take off sports and leg workouts for a couple weeks to let my hamstring heel but my legs were feeling good and i felt competitive. on a positive note i didnt get out of breath playin basketball or backyard football for a change. all the running the past couple months has paid off and im in great athletic shape for the first time in a while. even last summer when i was playin basketball and football a couple times a week i would get winded. but i kept up with the recievers and was sprinting almost every play. todays leg workout though wasnt much to brag about but i just couldnt get in the right mood. i didnt have my ipod seeing as i stepped on my damn head phones the other day. which i could say they deserved it because they were a pile of crap cause they didnt stay put in my ears worth a damn anyway. so listening to ymca music wasnt too motivating. ill make up for it this week though when i do a heavy leg workout and get some new headphones that stay put. i can listen to my korn and slipknot instead of britney spears this time.

So I’ve been contemplating lately taking time off from leg workouts and sports !!! A couple months ago I hurt my tendon that connects the bottom of my hamstring to the back of my knee while doing sprints to work on my speed. Leg workouts are my shit. A lot of people go to the gym for their upper bodys only, because thats what people can see at the beach or through a shirt. But god dammit, I love putting as many plates on a bar as I can and going nice and low with it, ass to ankles boy! Hell I just hit my record in squatting the other day gettin 8 really good reps with 405 and now I have to take a break? Well I can still do leg extentions and swimming, big freakin whoop! I figured I just pulled it and in a couple weeks it would be better. I guess maybe it would have if I had stayed off it and let it rest, but you don’t grow strong legs by sitting your leg days out for 2 to 4 weeks. You don’t get cut by not running or walking on a boring ass treadmill. And what about my sunday back yard football? That’s out of the question. Guess I’ll have to invest in some madden. But I’ve still been doing all those things that I shouldn’t have been doing and it hasn’t healed so I guess it’s time to do the one thing all lifters hate, besides dieting, take a couple weeks off. Well off of legs of anyway, I’ll still be working on the ol upper body. Shit man, wish me luck, hopefully it only improves my squat by letting it fully recover.
