Appetite
No change in appetite since I started. I’ve been able to follow a diet without getting hungry or getting urges to eat more.
Mood
Mood has remained unchanged. No affect at all from the thyrotabs
Body Heat
No doubt body heat is up significantly. Even as I type this with the air conditioning going, I am hot and slightly sweating. When I go outside I start sweating immediately.
Fat Loss
I haven’t weighed like I had planned to do the other day but I can look in the mirror and it appears as though I’m losing fat. I can also tell a difference in the way pants fit.
Other
Diet was horrible yesterday. I had to go out of town so I ended up eating fast food at every meal along with sodas and crap out of a vending machine. I was back on track today and got everything just right. I slacked on cardio today and yesterday but I may try to dosome tonight. So far the only side effect I notice is an increase in body heat and sweating. It’s having a major effect there. Mood and appetite are unphased.

Appetite
Appetite hasn?t been changed by the TT.
Mood
Mood was same as usual today except some more nervous excitement.
Body Heat
I?m positive there?s an effect on body heat. It wasn?t very humid today and the wind was cool yet I still felt hot and would sweat a little bit even when inactive.
Fat Loss
Yes, please?.maybe I?ll notice something when I weigh which will be on Day 7.
Other
So far everything is going perfectly. My diet is perfect, energy levels are good, and no bad side effects with the exception of body heat, which isn?t bad enough to really complain.

Appetite
Still no change in appetite thank God! So far I?ve been able to keep my diet absolutely perfect.
Mood
No changes in mood. I?m kind of antsy today but not because of the TT. Just waiting for what should be good news so I?m in a state of nervous excitement.
Body Heat
I think the heat is picking up a little bit. During my workout I was sweating more than usually even though I?m out in the garage where the heat is magnified even more than it is outside. I had to keep a towel with me and use it constantly.
Fat Loss
N/A.. I will plan to weigh and measure on Day 7 and do so once per week throughout the duration of this log.

Appetite
My appetite is still unchanged. No more and no less than usual.
Mood
Mood was the same as always today.
Body Heat
Very noticeable increase in heat today but being that it?s my first day back on weight training and the fact that I haven?t done cardio since the first day of the log, it?s hard to tell if it?s just the extreme heat from working out in the garage or the affect from the TT. I?ll have to get a few more workouts in the garage to eliminate other variables like the fact that it?s very hot and humid outside.
Fat Loss
N/A??yet
Other
I worked chest, shoulders, and triceps today which took approximately 45-50 minutes. I only rest for 60 seconds so I get it all completed relatively fast. I think the 3 days off was beneficial and for the first time in awhile I felt fully recovered when training.
Diet was perfect again and I hit my target for calories and macros. So far my diet has been 100% perfect since Day 1 of this log.

I see alot of people posting about how Xtend, and other BCAA’s don’t mix very well so I thought I would state the obvious to many, yet something many others don’t know. Maybe it will save some frustration for a few.
If it doesn’t mix well, it is probably the result of one of several things :
1) the specific batch you got just isn’t very mixable for whatever reason. I’ve been through many tubs and it seems liek they all mixed and dissolved very differently.
2) you didn’t let it sit long enough to dissolve. If you stir/shake it up and then place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes, there is a good chance that it will dissolve entirely without so much as a single floating particle.
I just finished up a container last night and it was a batch that didn’t mix well although after chilling it in the fridge for 30 minutes resulted in the dissolution (is that even a word?!) of about 90% of it.
Today I opened up a new container, put some in my bottle, shook it up, and placed in the fridge as always. I came back by about 10 minutes later to shake the bottle again and there wasn’t so much as a single white particle floating around. 100% dissolved!
So for those who are frustrated by mixability and/or are actually drinking the stuff right away with all the crap foaming up and floating on top make sure you mix it up really well (with a spoon or shaken in a bottle) and then let it sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes. That should solve all or most of the mixability problem. If not, then the specific batch just has some mixability issues.

Appetite
Appetite is still not an issue and hasn?t changed. Another perfect day as far as diet goes. So far I?m getting everything just right in terms of overall calories and macros. Now if I can force myself to do more cardio I?ll be good to go.
Mood
Nothing to report as far as mood goes. It hasn?t changed since beginning this log.
Body Heat
I felt a little bit warm today despite not doing any cardio or training but this could very well be just the extreme heat right now. It?s mega hot outside and it hasn?t rained in weeks so it felt very humid today.
Fat Loss
N/A. I don?t expect to report much on this front for at least another week or so..
Other
No cardio today even though I had planned on doing some. Tomorrow will be back to weight training so it will feel like a normal week. I took off 3 days from weights and did minimal cardio so it will be good to hit the weights tomorrow afternoon and maybe add on 20-25 minutes of cardio at the end.

LJ57’s Gaspari Thermogenic Thyrotabs Log
Goal
My goal with this six week experience is to successfully bring sexy back.
J/K. My goal though is to really take my cutting to a whole new level. I have a closet full of 34-30 jeans (about 10 pairs) that my short, fat ass cannot fit into and I plan to get into those at the end of the six weeks. Lol, I sound like a woman talking like that. I?ve been cutting, albeit very, very slowly over the last two months and have managed to lose some fat while adding muscle. The scale has only changed by about 10 lbs. over those two months but I did manage to add muscle at the same time.
For this six week log, however, I plan to step it up a bit and lose around 2 lbs. per week while retaining as much muscle as possible. Unlike the past two months where I have not done a bit of cardio except walking the dog down the street and back, I plan to start adding 20-25 minutes of cardio after each training session (with the exception of the day after leg training).
Supplements
As far as supplements go I plan to use only the staples in addition to the Thyrotabs. I will be taking only the following supplements :
Twinlab Daily One
BSN Syntha 6
Dymatize ISO-100
Dymatize Elite Whey
Scivation Xtend

The following are the main things I will be noting in this log :
Appetite
Mood level
Body heat
Fat loss
Training
I will also post an overall summary at the end of each week regarding what is listed above.
Diet
I will be aiming for 40/40/20 for the most part and will stagger my calories on a daily basis. I aim for 2,200-2,400 calories. I?m a vegetarian (almost 16 years now) so my diet is always shocking to many people. Below you will see some of the staples of my diet :

Training
I?m currently training 3 on 1 off right now but plan to get back to Optimized Volume Training week after next. I?ve gotten some good results with it but decided to take a few weeks off and drop the volume down a little bit. I will be taking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off just to have an extended rest period after having only one day off per week from training for the last few weeks.
Cardio
I wish it wasn?t true, but yes, I will be doing cardio throughout the six weeks. I hate cardio more than anything but it?s a necessary evil if I want to get rid of the fat. I?ve been cutting for a couple of months without it and have had some success losing fat and gaining muscle simultaneously but I can feel the momentum slowing down and less fat coming off. Time to step it up a notch or two.
Stats
Height : 5′9
Weight : 215 (Dear God!)
BF% : 27% (Dear God!)
And finally…
This is a sponsored log so thanks go out to Des and Zach for selecting me for this testing opportunity. I hope this will be a good and interesting six weeks.
I’m sure I’m leaving something out so let me know if there’s anything you want to know during the course of this log. I’ll be glad to answer any questions or elaborate on my log updates. Best of luck to all the other TT testers out there!
