Cave girl Diet

I read about the caveman diet in an issue of Iron Man yesterday. It says to stick with things that a caveman would have ate such as meat, fruits, nuts, and roots. Sounds very healthy and cleansing. I think I am going to give it a shot with the exception of having a protein shake before bed made with liquid egg white and whey isolate.

Had a great leg workout Tuesday night that I am still feeling today (Thursday). I am supposed to train glutes today, but I did such a good job training them Tuesday I think I should let them recover a little longer.

Best wishes to all!

The Caveman diet is GREAT, but it is hard to get enough calories (at least it was for me)! Best of luck! Check out Dr. Cordain’s book on the subject - there are some decent recipes in there.

The cave girl diet sounds good, eating natural things are always good in my book. I went as far as making sure everything was organic, but it got too expensive.

Just a thought. Did Ironman Mag talk about eating grubs, bone merrow, rats, or pretty much ANYTHING you could get your hands on in the late cretacious period?

I think the current caveman (or retrosexual) would love the dollar menu, as terrible as it sounds, whopper juniors pack, lettuce, tomato, pickle AND onion. Phytochemicals baby!

Hooray for natural, low calorie eating, keep yourself lean LFG27 - you look fabulous!
