Today was a sensational day at the gym… I postponed my pull day due to a headache yesterday. Today was a heavy push day and it kicked my @ss so bad that my shoulders and tris were super tight after the first exercises. Diet was perfect today, water will end up being a gallon, got all my supps in, and my cardio was super HIIT and my heart rate was bouncing all over the place with the intervals. Tomorrow is a higher carb day which is bitter suite for me cause although overall I know the extra carb periodization is beneficial, I do feel a lil extra "full" the day after… but I guess I shouldn’t complain cause this Psychotic Plan is working.

Today is my pull day and oh boy this is what really did me in after Tuesday.. it was the combination from the push and pull that iced the cake to giving my muscles some major soreness. I’m hoping to do that same thing again after work today. I’m loving the HIIT post-workout, love how it’s short and sweet. My diet has been perfecto, tons of water and I’m taking my AAKG, Redline, B-12, K, V-D and Ca everyday as prescribed. It’s hard to remember them all sometimes but I’m doing the best I can. I’m going to do a ‘routine’ weigh in tomorrow morning and see how things look after 2 weeks on the diet, 1 week officially on the Psychotic Plan. I mostly want to just see how it looks since I’m most likely dropping water weight from the creatine I was taking before, which I’ve ceased using as of the start of this program.. and honestly I don’t miss it one bit. I get the pump from the AAKG, and the crazy-energy from the Redline… win win for now until my body fat is lowered. I think at 1 month I’ll do another progress picture. I can already tell my tummy is getting smaller… no joke. I love it.

I’m super stoked, last night, at the END of my day weighed in for the hell of it and I was 3 pounds down with ALL my gym gear on and after all my eating. I have a normal weigh in routine, usually in the morning, etc… but I was s excited to see that I no longer am floating around in the low 140’s, but have finally made it into the 130’s. I can’t remember a time in my LIFE when this has happened before. Today is a complete off day; it’s much needed.

Alright well I can not walk today… this high weight, low rep. is really busting my @ss. I had no idea how effective it would really be since I’ve never really tried it out. I hope I’m healed in time for Thursday to do it all over again. But damn, I used the AAKG and Redline last night… and I had such a great workout! I’m used to Vitasport’s Fuzion which is a hardcore preworkout drink.. but in order to drop some H2O weight and really be at my leanest in all aspects I decided to just cut it and use the AAKG straight up without the creatine. I really do like it and I don’t feel like I’m feining at all. Tonight I’m going the second workout and abs and again cardio.. oh dear yeah and the cardio was intense, only 15 minutes of pure hell, I thought I was going to die 5 minutes in - high resistance cardio kicks some major booty. I think it put the cherry on top of my bomb.com workout. Diet is still fab. Chugging this water. Let’s go day 3.

So today is my day 2 on the psychotic plan and things are great.. of course they are great, it’s early still. But none the less, I’m very excited and motivated to cut this fat once and for all. Yesterday was an off day… so my eating was right on and all my supps were taken as well. Today is going good so far, and tonight I’ll be hitting the gym for my first psychotic workout. I do have to make a change as to when I go to the gym though.. meaning I’ll have to go at night, oppose to right after work. Since I need some breathing room to do my workouts… I’ll adjust to going later at about 8… or right after my last food meal has a little bit of time to digest. It won’t be that bad though… I will be taking Redline but usually as long as I bust my ass I can fall asleep no problem. I’ll report tomorrow how it goes.

So I’m getting pretty psyched to start this new plan. I think I’m pretty set in my ways with training… and that’s why I opted for a real change of pace with Steve Poynter’s psychotic plan. I’m usually very skeptical with these kind of things but I figure, why the heck not?! I’m down about 40 pounds, I’ve lost the majority of my body fat, and now it’s time to trim and bust the rest of it once and for all. I’m super duper stoked… I’ve already been doing the diet a little bit, seeing how it will fit into my schedule and what I have to buy, and how much cause I only want to buy enought fresh foods a week at a time. I’m very money conscious when it comes to eating healthy. If I need to eat 1/2 banana everyday, well guess what, I’m buying 4 bananas. I think I have everything in order though with the diet.. and it looks awesome! As for the workout plan.. I’m so used to going to the gym 6-7 days a week, so cutting it down by a couple days I hope I don’t freak out too much or go through withdrawals. I know that it really is about quality over quantity, so I’m going to try to remember that each time I do go in so I can kick major ass each and every workout. Ahh I’m so excited to see how things will turn out in September. No joke, even 1 day trying out the eating I felt so refreshed and satisfied. I’m eating up some of my ‘other’ clean food now so it’s not wasted.. but Sunday it’s on!

So yesterday I did legs… I did: Squats w/ a 30# bb for 3×20, seated leg press @ #155 for 4×20, lying leg curl starting at 60# for 4 sets of 15, double leg extensions followed by single leg extenstions, hip ab and adduction, lunges on the smith machine, leg lefts, bridges, reverse crunches and flutter kicks… plus 15 min cool down on the tread walking incline. Yayyy… my shirt was totally soaked but it’s all good.

So this weekend I kicked my butt with shoulder/tri/chest and 45 min cardio yesterday, and then back/bi plus 45 min. cardio today! I did go out last night and enjoyed some dancing and a few vodka/tonics… but got my butt up and stull went to the gym and had a super great eating day today. I don’t plan on going out for 2 weeks now, so we will see how hard and straight edge I can push myself until then! I cooked up all my food for the week today as well. I’m all set for the week, motivated as hell and ready to drop another pound of two this week.

It is going great!! This whole month I’m going to push to do it on Wed. and Thurs. religiously.. AND go back to religiously doing the stepmill for my only cardio a couple days. I’m very excited to keep going this month of June to do the best that I’m able to and get a lil bit less chunky… and a lil bit more muscle.
