Another Blog

Yesterday was a great eating day. Did my scheduled 45 min. of cardio after work, too. Went grocery shopping and got all my staples! Today is good so far, need to catch up on water though. Tonight will be back/biceps/abs again, followed by 30 min. of cardio. I also have homework prior to BBC this weekend! I’m logging everything I’m doing these next three days. I used to do this last year when I started training.. well, I’m busting out the binder again and going to start up. It really helped me! I’ve already printed out all my logs for the work outs, just need to fill them in at the gym. I already have my eating planned for the whole day, too.

Summary of Yesterday

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

I went to training.. and basically got the you know what kicked out of me. I was sweating so much it just kept pouring out, my heartrate was elevated the entire 40 minutes, too. I wanted to do cardio after although I had literally NO energy left. Today I will be doing 45 min. of cardio + abs after work. Eating was great yesterday. I typically hate beef but got some really lean, thin ones at the store and george forman’ed them.. they came out pretty dang good! So far off today to a good start. I feel pretty good - still need to get a camera for my prog pics!! I know, it sucks. I want to see the change visually! And I WILL wake up tomorrow to get my weight in for this weigh-in, too. One day at a time.. I have my goals for today.. good luck with all of yours!

Starting Fresh

I was going to take my new pics but could not find my digi-cam. I’ll need to borrow one from my sister, I’ll try to take the progress pics tomorrow morning before the morning cardio and also get at least my weight stats then, too. I think I’ve really leaned out in various areas. I’m going to totally be selfish and focus on myself the next two months. 90% of my life is very calm, predictable and stable. There’s 10% that’s not, but will be very soon as I am in the process of relieving some drama from my life. I’m very excited for new changes and am striving to be as positive as possible day to day. It will be hard, but I know I can do it. I will try to use it as motivation to work out harder than ever before.

These next 8 weeks I have a couple daily goals that I want to accomplish:

1. Protein shake as a snack everyday.

2. Drink 2.2L of water (min.) everyday. This is how big my water jug is.

3. Get a lunch box and use it for when I’m not at home.

4. Do a spin class once a week on a just cardio day.

5. Do Tummy and Tushie class + Bikini Boot Camp each 1 day a week.

6. No alcohol. Limit to one cheat meal, one day a week.

This is it so far. I think they are reasonable. Today I plan on doing shoulders, tri and chest + 30 min. cardio.
