NECTAR PROTEIN

is the sheeeeet! No joke. I would drink it all day if I could. Tastes so good. I’m having it 2x a day, morning snack and post workout. I have Fuzzy Navel now and it’s sooo amazing. For highly lactose intolerant people like myself.. NO REACTION. AND it’s whey isolate, too! It’s a little pricier…. not that bad though! But it’s def worth it for me! I ordered the cooler and I can’t wait for it to come.. I’m going to try strawberry kiwi this weekend too (I HOPE!). So.. today was just cardio.. legs are still sore from Sunday. I had to switch things up a bit.. tomorrow will be my push day followed by some bomb interval stepmill cardio. :) I hope it’s my secret weapon to bust this fat. I really need to bring a huge towel though cause I sweat like no one you’ve ever seen. Tomorrow and Thursday I will also be implementing 30 min. morning cardio for the last 4 weeks of my attempt at fat busting.  Next week I want to do morning cardio M, T, W, Th. (30 min.) No BS excuses.. I have none! I have equipment at work! :) Goodnight wish me luck!

Week 4

This week I plan on hitting the grindsonte pretty hard everyday. Right now I’m planning out my meals for the week, still shooting for the 1300/1500 periodization. I want to eat clean and stay on track all week. I know I can do it! I’m thinking maybe I’ll take prog pics next weekend so this will be a little more motivation! I’m also going to be logging my calories still. All in all last week was pretty good, I did have 1 cheat day but got right back on track on Sunday. I’m going to strive to do interval stepmill cardio post push/pull work outs for 15 min., then do ellipical or maybe steady stepmill for the rest of the time. I really like doing the stepmill cause it’s really hard and makes the time go by pretty damn fast. I got some new protein and it tastes amazing.. Optimum made me feel sick cause I’m pretty intolerant of lactose. So I tried isolate protein so my body will metabolize it easier and it has waaay less lactose. It sersiouly tastes like an orage julius.. even though the flavor is fuzzy navel. I have carribean cooler coming in the mail by Friday! This is another thing I’m going to be doing is having TWO protein shakes a day from now on, morning snack and post-workout. I used to force myself to do one cause of how much I would hate my throat to react and swell with the lactose but now I look forward to it! I’m also ceasing a bit on the hydroxycut, between my new vitamins prior to work.. which has a lot of B vitamins for energy, and I drink 2 cups of fresh green tea at work, and my Fuzion pre-workout… and my 2 servings of protein.. I think I’m supplemented enough! I would rather use the Fuzion over the Hydroxycut.. when I used both I felt kind of mentally uneasy like I couldn’t focus.. not speedy, just distracted. So that’s being taken off my list. I may even get some green tea extract? We’ll see I’m going to research it a bit. Peace out!

Sticking to the Program

Hello! So everything is going great lately I can’t complain! Diet has been on track.. I’m actually going to periodize my calories 2x a week for a little while. Meaning.. hike up my calories with 200 calories worth of protein on my heavier days (Tuesday and Saturday). So today I’ll be eating more protein… actually just adding in a protein shake and upping my chicken servings since they are pure protein pretty much. I’m going lighter on the carb side today in case I decide to have a light green beer this evening! I had a complex carb with b-fast.. and had some whole wheat crackers now. That’s all for the carbs until this evening! I have my lunch and aft. snack ready to go… and dinner! Today I’m super stoked cause it’s back and bi day on my own! I get to have my wonderful Fuzion that always puts a smile on my face and let’s me kick my own ass until I can’t lift anymore. When I got up this morning I could see my fat a little more sucked in and smaller on the sides. I think this clean eating is really helping. I was so used to eating low calories in the beginning and now that I’m eating 1300 on hard days and 1500 on the extra-hard days I think my body is really liking it and responding well :) . I’m tracking my calories only.. haven’t logged workouts in a while. I’m trying to remember to give every gym session my all every single time I workout. I haven’t had any cheat meals in a while… I can’t even remember my last cheater meal ha ha. Well that’s good cause with exception of my green light beer tonight I’m all prepared for another clean week of delicious food! I’m thinking on my 1 month I’ll weigh myself again and then again at my final end of mini-goal weigh in. I may even to a quick picture on April 4th just to make sure I’m on track. Oh! and yesterday I tried interval cardio on the stepmill.. holey moley I could only do about 15 minutes. I will try again today though post-lifting. TTFN :)

So today I had my BBC class and it was awesome! Last week we only had 2/4 girls but today was the full class! It was a lot of fun but a lot of hard work as well! My diet has been good still.. water usually lags on the weekends but I’m consciously trying to get it up! Started my new vitamin yesterday… got more fuzion too. I’m going to relax this weekend… do some cardio tomorrow for my active rest since I don’t have anything planned to actually give me "active rest". All for now!!

I love Powerman 5000 and Rob Zombie. Seriously doing cardio to amazing bands like that makes working out the best thing in the world. I get so pumped and so excited with fast beats from rock bands. I’ve loved metal and hard rock bands ever since I was in junior high. It made my 30 min. intervals go by SO freaking fast I could not believe it. Yesterday was a fab day for eating, water chugging and working out. Forecast for today looks pretty good too. All for now~

Week 2

Monday, March 9th, 2009

So I can’t believe I’m already down 1 week! I’m stoked I’ve busted into the 140’s finally. Now it will be a struggle to get into the 130’s. Oh I can’t believe how far I’ve come. For so long I talked the talk.. but now I’m walking the walk and it feels sooo great. I hope I can get into the 130’s by the end of 2 months. Theoretically shouldn’t be a problem, right? Between my new program and meeting with a trainer 3 times a week it should be more than probable. I intend to do my best! Eating has been doing great… I had a minor cheat meal last night. But I’m super good and satisfied for hopefully quite a while now. I updated my iPod last night.. over 8 gigs of music! My pod is the new 16g so I still have a ton of space left! I can not WAIT to get on that cardio though tonight. It’s going to rock. Only a couple hours left of work and I’m off to burn some fat. All for now~

Cinnamon and Relaxation

Bikini Boot Camp was soo awesome this morning! I def should have ate before then but I woke up only 15 min before I had to leave. Anyways.. she kicked our ass.. started off using kettlebells for like 25 minutes.. did back, shoulders, arms, abs… we got it ALL. I am actually a little sore. I did not do cardio right after but will be doing a little dancing tonight so that should suffice. My eating has been so delicious and so clean today so far. More turkey burgers, spinach, ww bread post-workout.. then right now had an apple w/ cinnamon and string cheese for snack. I never knew how good cinnamon was for you until I looked it up right now. It has a few calories.. but for 1 tbsp. it has 4 GRAMS of fiber and 5 carbs. Fiber is so hard for me to get in my diet.. I’ve tried supplements but they are usually so gross. I felt so great today because my chick trainer could visially tell me weight loss since December when our Bally’s shut down. Def woke me up this morning and made me feel great. She is also giving us a split.. which pretty much looks like mine that I had conjured up. I will be changing to hers.. basically the same except she uses push/pull versus tri/chest/shouler & bacik/bi. I am ready to tackle that you have noooo idea. With all the personal issues that’s gone one.. things are finally going to chill out and I can not wait. Things will take time.. but it needs to start somewhere right? My journey started this morning at 11am with the class. I’m going to be focusing on MYSELF.. and working on trying to live a peaceful, non-complicated life. That’s what I’m aiming for — non complicated! Just working out, working, networking with new fitness friends and hanging out. Thank god beach season is coming up cause I hate staying inside. It can’t come too quickly though cause I have some more fat to bust before. Hopefully between all this I can be a better person all-around in 2 months. I will prob have some set backs.. but I’ll just need to handle them as best I can and try try try to not lose sight of the goal. I can not wait.. I’m super stoked to get on this and lose this weight. I need to get to the gym to weight myself, too and update that. All for now ~

HAPPY EFFIN FRIDAY

Hello~ Yesterday was a great fitness and eating day, too. I’ve been really strong in the fitness and eating dept. since Sunday when I started. I wanted to take the prog. pics this morning but said F it and I’ll just wait until tomorrow morning when I can NOT wake up at 6am freezing my butt off. I’ll do my prog. pics tomorrow morning, measurements tom. morning, then head to the gym for weigh-in prior to Bikini Boot Camp @ 11am. I’m so excited to add this class to my routine.. and it’s a whole hour long. I still need to Plate my calories for yesterday, and today so I can turn them all in tomorrow to her. I hope to have a lot of fat-loss in the next 8 weeks. I have not had any cravings for crap food either lately which is great! Usually when I’m down in the dumps I eat, that’s how I gained ALL my weight end of 07/begin of 08. Today is my all-girl lunch with the work girlfriends though at CPK.. I’m going to check out some nutrition facts before going so I have an idea of how to eat smart. Believe it or not, I’ve never been there and I’ve lived here my whole life in CA.

Tonight I have straight up cardio. I will do about 25 min of it with intervals, or more if I can handle it. Tomorrow I may end up going to the gym twice, in the morning for weigh-in, little cardio/warm up.. BBK… then maybe at night do 30 of cardio. Or if I’m not dying after BBK, just knock it out then. Took me long enough but this morning I got up and had a whole-grain waffle (13 carbs, 100 cal.) w/ sugar free syrup (30 cals), 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg with some chopped up spinach in it and fat-free cheese slice on top. It was pretty damn good! Spinach is so good for you and pretty easy to implement into your diet, and it’s CHEAP. I’m all about cheap, clean eating. I buy good food, but I buy a lot of I can when it’s on sale. I have an apple/string cheese for morning snack today. CPK for lunch. Protein shake/cocoa almonds pre-workout/second snack.. then gym after work, THEN a extra lean turkey fat-free cheese burger (open face) for dinner with tomatoes and spinach and ketchup tonight. I love using ground turkey, but it CAN get bland if you don’t spice it up. I use Ms. Dash no salt all the time on pretty much everything. I can honestly say I feel like I can breathe a little better with some things. I have a ways to go, but I have such a (good) different outlook on some people. :) I look forward to my future, and even though I have to do some trying things that will I’m sure break me down at times, I have my family and friends to fall back on. Just have to stay positive and motivated.

Thursday’s Goals

Today I woke up with kind of a sour stomach.. trying to think positively though and not let $HIT get me and my fitness goals down. I know accountability will be one of the most important attributes to my success. I’m hoping on talking to as many people as possible about our plans and goals.. I wish even on a daily basis to keep my @$$ in check! I have some personal struggles I am working on so hard to clear off my plate now. I just don’t have any patience anymore for dishonest, negative people. I’m hoping to unite with strong women and nip this fat in the butt!! I wrote and printed all my food from yesterday, stayed below cals. I also logged all my back/bi routine. Did 5 min. warm up and 40 min. elliptical. TODAY: I have no set backs that prevent me from clean eating. I have my string cheese and yogurt (only dairy that I can eat while being lactose intolerant).. fruit and soy hot dogs, natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly.. protein shakes. Should be good on that today. In regards to the gym, I have Tummy and Tushy tonight! I’ll be doing about 15 min. warm up there, then TNT, then over to LAF to do 45 min. of cardio. I am still super stoked for my first Bikini Boot Camp class this weekend with my chick trainer! It shall be fantastic. The next eight weeks I’m hoping for lots of progress in the fat-loss department. I really hope everyone has a great eating and training day today.

Back and Bi’s… followed by 35-45 min. of cardio. I’ll be taking my Fuzion before so I have ultra-insane pumps. :) I’ve done so much thinking today and have such a drive to get fit for myself. F the drama.. for good. I have a bit of relief and enlightenment. Can’t wait to rock out on my iPod tonight too. I will be doing measurements and pic tomorrow morning. Sorry it’s been so delayed. I think I’m tan enough now too btw. My calories we great today as well, 1/5 left of my 2.2L jug. Going to top it off again before I leave work. Because the creatine I can tell I’m carrying water weight. Once I’m done with this tub I’ll cycle it out for a month and switch to only fat-burners, mostly green tea. I’m off right now.. I’ve read a couple blogs of other’s and I’m quite suprised.. pleasantly suprised thoughat the motivation of some people. Happy lifting tonight. :)
