Visual Progress

Monday, February 9th, 2009

OK, so I made myself a promise to NOT use the scale until Feb. 28th. So far so good with that. Still tracking my calories. Still drinking over 2.2L of water a day. I’ve been carrying around this jug for about 2 weeks now. I really feel cleaner. The past two weeks I’ve had 2 set backs, so over the weekend I’ve gotten them both officially under control. I’ve overcome my sinus issues, and my finger is on it’s way to being healed! So I’m super fired up about this next week ahead! I’m kicking it off today with my trainer @ 5pm. Prior to that I will do 15-20 min. of warm up, followed by 30 minutes of interval cardio to bust that fat. As for training, I want to focus on abs and legs (again) today. Until my finger is healed and I can support my upper body completely I am staying off of it. I’m going to really focus on abs and cardio. I really, really want to lean out in the next couple months. By the end of March I want to have a drastic improvement. I’m ready, willing and eager to make this commitment stronger. I’m very stoked for this week, this next weekend, and all the following weeks to come.

Easy Does It

Friday, February 6th, 2009

Helllooooo ~ So Wed. I have my reunion with my first (and favorite) trainer. Since my finger is injured I am limited to core and below exercises. We did a kick ass (literaly) 1 hour training sesh for the quads, hams, booty and abs. Seriously was amazing, I’m still hurting. I did 35 min. of crazy interval cardio on my lunch yesterday. Went from 2 minutes of level 5 intensity (personal intensity scale) to 1 minute of a level 9, for 30 min; with a 2.5 warm up and cool down. I have no idea how I pushed though the pain, but I did. Today I’m resting, but tomorrow I will be up at the crack of dawn back for cardio and abs. Tonight I will be cleaning the crap out of my condo before the weekend of celebration begins! So I plan on burning some calories tonight with cleaning, walking up an down my stairs many times and by doing other household tasks. I have also been tanning so my next progress picture, Feb. 28th, will have some color and will show my improvements so much more. :)

Amused & On Track

Hello! I had a great light cardio session last night. As I said, I’m going to be taking it easy on weights, and focus on cardio and core for the rest of the month. My eating has been really light and truly clean. Just wanted to do a minor check-in. Tonight will be all about medium cardio and core. ;-)
