Squat Pain

Wow! So I trained on Tuesday with my trainer and did triceps and shoulders. Shoulders… could have done more.. triceps… they still hurt.. BUT he also threw in just 1 extra exercise that was like a one-legged squat against a machine while doing a tricep extension.. I don’t know, but it really targeted my glutes. I had ther hardest time walking around yesterday.

Today… I’m going to strive to hit the weights, and then hit the cardio immeidately after. I’m going to do back and bi’s, followed by 3 ab exercises, followed by cardio. I’m going to try to do interval, maybe I’ll do 20 min interval, then follow that with 20 min. medium intensity. I only have 9 days to my next progress picture, I have to make sure I look good and I can see a difference. I’m a bit discouraged though since between a few setbacks this last mini-goal period. I was super sick for a couple weeks, had a minor injury. I’m hoping I can really stay on track this next go around. April 8th will be my 1 year official time from when I began training with my old trainer. I’m actually going to start a weekly TNT (tummy and tushy) class with her tonight. Anything with accountability and I’m in.. I love her, she is my old trainer and she is the bomb.com. Between the TNT and training (2x a week) accountability… I plan on having even BETTER progress pictures for my 1 year of even having progress pictures in the beginning of May! I’m going to do my best to not yet anything get me down. Working out has sersiously changed my outlook on life and I need to pick myself up and get super-pumped again.. not just medium pumped. I’m going to read some articles today, perhaps plan a new plan… and look forward to tonight! :)

Keep up the work girly… dont forget, everyone gets a lil sick and a few injuries every once in awhile but as long as you keep remembering why you do what you do then the motivation will always be there, you just might need a small kick in the ass to hit that next gear… do work!

Feeling some good pain after a hard workout is a great thing - makes you feel like you are accomplishing something (I’ve had many days where it’s tough to walk down a flight of steps…!) - keep up the good work!
