Disaster…

This seriously sucks…

So earlier this year, I kinda sprained my left wrist handling weights wrongly, kinda twisted it in a wrong angle and i felt a sharp pain… Hoping that it would go away (like previous injuries) I let it go and just continued on my journey in bb.. However the pain didn’t go away, continually putting stress and now it’s gotten to the point where it’s affecting my ulna.. I can’t twist or stretch my wrist in certain angles and basic moves are now starting to hurt my forearm.. This seriously blows man.

I tried to do some research,  but I’m pretty sure it’s a sprain of some sort. At first I thought it was tendinitis, but the symptoms are different thank God. I’m pretty sure it’s not bone or joint, it feels like tendon or cartilage? I’m not too sure.. It feels very bony compared to my other wrist.. But I’m going to get it checked out tomorrow and my parents want me to go get accupuncture… We’ll see how that goes…

But yeah this seriously sucks.. I hope it’s nothing too serious.. Bodybuilding is one of my top priorities in life… It’s the key component in my physical health, and if this is going to effect it badly, I don’t know what I’ll do… Just the thought of it makes me sad and depressed.. Bodybuilding is one of the things in my life that I feel I have the most control over. When spiritual struggles, emotional struggles, and mental (school) struggles are there, my physical life of bb is always something that I can stay on top of and feel in control, butwith this injury I feel completely helpless and out of control and not on top of anything in life… It makes me depressed and I hope and pray to God that it can be fixed… what a disaster…

I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hey everyone

I just needed some advice.. So lately I have not been able to buy/eat good adequate diets due to low budget issues… I have been struggling to even keep a good protein intake.. I feel like crap cus it seems like it’s hindering my growth…

Do you guys have any tips or pointers on getting the adequate BB diet without a big budget??? THanks so much!!

It’s my birthday and I’m finally 21!!! Yayy!

I totally didnt know bb.com sends u a 10% discount for your birthday!! woooo!! That put a smile on my face hahaha.

 

But anyways, even tho I’m "legal" now to drink, it’s not ALL that exciting for me haha. I don’t really drink, plus it has a bunch of calories n carbs… i know i sound like a freak LOL. But yeah I feel like I’m getting older!! BOOOooo haha. But it’s all good, I cant wait to see what God has in store for me this year…

I was gunna go workout today, a birthday workout if u will haha. But I need to spend time with fam and gf today. And friends wanna take me out thruout the week. what a busy week!! :) I’m so happy and blessed to have friends and family who love me and actually care.. Thank You God :D

But yeahh I hope for a great year to come! Gotta study my butt off for RN Preadmittance test and Personal Training Certificate!!! No room for hardcore partying and drinking!!!

Taking a week break!! =[

I’m so saddddd…

I’m taking a break from bodybuilding due to taking out all 4 wisdom teeth this week (2 of them surgically removed) and also a small family trip to LA… I don’t wanna go to the gym with HUGE chipmunk cheeks.. And I probably won’t be able to eat right for a few days which sucks even MORE!!! Gosh, getting your wisdom teeth out is like one of bb’s worst dreams… It sucks cus I have a lot to improve on especially my cardio cus i’m really FAT lol… -___-"
But hopefully this break will be a much needed one, cus I always wondered if I was fatiguing pretty bad possibly due to overtraining or not cycling N.O… So if it’s any of those 2 then I’ll get my much needed rest! I just hope I can stay on top of my diet (which I absolutely do not know what to do since I’m not even working out….) So if anyone can give any pointers/tips? That would be so helpful! =]

 But yeahhhhhh like I said I hope this 1-week break will be a good one, where I don’t gain too much fat and lose too much muscle… YIKES WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

Other than that, I’m thinking of taking N.O. SHOTGUN for once. It sounds like a really good product, but I’m scared to buy the "buy 2 get 1 free" deal, cus who knows if it’ll work as good as superpump?? Anyways.. Have a good week everyone and keep lifting hard!!! I’m jealous…. The Animal will return soon after a week’s worth of hibernation… LOL!!

DO WE NEED TO CYCLE N.O.??

Hey everyone!

 I just had a simple question I was wondering about.. So I’ve been taking n.o. supps for a while now, and I was wondering if you need to cycle on and off??? Some people say you do, some people say you don’t….

 So do you have to cycle? Or can you take it regularly like protein? Why or why not? And if you do cycle, how often do you have to cycle n.o.?

ANY PERSONAL TRAINERS OUT THERE?!?

Hey everyone!
I was wondering if there are any Personal trainers out there. I’m trying to become ACE certified by this coming October or maybe even November… I’m studying from the Basic studyguide (which is a whopping 150+$…), taking the computer based test (which is another 250$…), and I wanted to know if there’s anyone with some tips/pointers! I’m really nervous, I already am a Nursing Major so a lot of anatomy/physio is review, but I’m just nervous about what to expect and if I really need to study my ass off for this… The textbook I got is seeming to be very overwhelming as well with a lot of info overload…. So please any tips would help!!!
Even if you’re not ACE certified, what should I be looking forward to as a future trainer? (that’s always been one of my dreams to be a trainer)
Any tips, pointers, what I should expect from the test/job would be so helpful… Thank you for your time!!

Question on Over-Training

It’s simply: How do you know that you are potentially, if not, overtraining??? How can you tell?

 

Cus I don’t know if my body’s just tired or lazy, but I’m questioning overtraining as well as taking too much N.O… I duno lol Please Help!! Thank you!!

Update on my life~

Hello everyone!

 Havent updated in a bit, but now I have lots to update u on! My pulled muscle, my worst (best) cheat day, and my 1 week break.

So last week I pulled my chest/armpit muscle benching a bit too fast… It hurt like a b***h! OWww! It sucks cus it was in the beginning too and that definitely took a toll on my motivation for the rest of the workout… I thought it wasnt too bad, but it affected my back workouts too while i was doing pulldowns… And it still kinda hurts.. SUCKS!! How do u take care of it so it’ll get better faster??? Any tips??

 I also had my worst cheat day ever LOL. I kinda planned it because I wanted to feel so fat and disgusted that I would never cheat like that again.. SO! First came the vietnamese phO noodles, grande size. I felt so fat after that. THEN came the grande white mocha frap with whip from starbucks with a double chocolatey chocolate cupcake… I felt like a fat kid… and of course the finale…. 3 DOUBLE CHEESEBURGERS WITH EXTRA BBQ SAUCES (Mc’d’s) + 3 CHEESY DOUBLE BEEFY BURRITOS (taco bell) = DIET HELL….. I couldnt believe I ate that….. I felt so sick after that I couldnt eat anything for the rest of the night…. And the funny thing is, my gf was in it too! LOL! But yeah.. There you go, cheat day from hell…

But anyways on to the next topic. I hate to say it, but I am taking a one week break from my routine. As I was using heavier and heavier weights like I was supposed to, my body started getting really really exhausted and not in a good way either… I realized it started to drain my whole energy throughout the days, I felt pretty overtrained and my body didn’t seem to recover properly in some odd way.. I was going to man it thru until I finish the end of phase 2 in a couple weeks or so, but I knew it would be a negative effect instead of a postitive one.. I have never taken a break between workout routines, so I’m guessing the need for it finally caught up to me. I will be doing cardio and sticking to diet, just off the weights for a week. Hopefully I’ll get stronger and it’ll do my body good like my friend Brandy suggested! =]

But anyways, that’s it for now. I think now that I’m taking a small break, I can concentrate on my skool work a bit more. Other than my fitness news, I have some other great news!! After 1 more quarter of hard work I can start applying for Nursing Programs! Wow I didn’t know I’d be so close to applying soon! I know the waitlist will be pretty tough, but at least its coming faster than I thought! Gotta keep studying harddd.. Wish me luck everyone!

CYTONOX and CYTOCELL?

Hey everyone how are you guys doing???

Well I had my chest workout today, and damn…. I tore my left chest muscle a lil bit by going a bit too fast on 190 lbs bench…. DAMN haha but its okay now I know not to go so damn fast!! Learn from your mistakes and keep pressin forward!!! RAH!

 But anyways… Recently I’ve been thinking of taking CYTOGENIX new products cytonox and cytocell, both n.o. and post workout creatine product. I compared prices with bsn, gaspari and cytogenix and cytogenix is pretty good quantity for the price, but I don’t know how good it is… Has anyone heard about or taken any of these??? Let me know please!! Help a brother out!! Or should i just stick with superpump?

Hey all, I don’t know if you guys have a facebook or not, but I love both facebook and bodyspace.

Since my physical passion is bodybuilding, I wanted to do something that has to do with bb on facebook, so I made a group!! It’s an open group for any fitness freaks, bodybuilders, workout enthusiasts!
